FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTS FOR THE 2024 YEAR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Orange on March 25th, 2024 commencing at 6:00PM at Orange Town Hall, 899 Hornby Road, Beaver Dams, NY for the purpose of contracting fire protection contracts between the Town and following Fire Departments: Monterey Fire, Bradford Fire, and Beaver Dams Fire.

Said contracts shall be upon the following general terms according to the Town Budget for 2024:
• Monterey Fire, Bradford Fire, and Beaver Dams Fire Inc. shall, at all times during the period of said contracts, be subject to call for attendance upon any fire occurring in such respective fire protection districts, and shall respond and attend upon all fire calls in said respective fire protection districts.
For such services, payment shall be made by the Town pursuant to said contracts for the year 2024 or as otherwise indicated as follows:
• The sum of $88,085 to Monterey Fire Company Inc.
• The sum of $19,500 to Bradford Fire Company Inc.
• The sum of $17,747 to Beaver Dams Fire Company Inc.
• Each contract shall continue for a period of one year, from January 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024.
• Each contract shall contain such other incidental terms and provisions as may be necessary or proper in connection with such contracting.
