GOENNER (Bea) is thrilled to be part of this production. With five years of experience in theater, she has had the pleasure of performing in a variety of beloved shows, including Matilda JR, Dear Edwina, Seussical the Musical JR, Newsies JR, Beauty and the Beast JR and Legally Blonde JR. Alexandria’s passion for storytelling and her dedication to the craft continue to inspire her on and off the stage. She would like to thank the cast ,crew and audience for their support and is excited to share this performance with you!
(Nostradamus) is a dynamic 14-year-old performer with a talent that commands the stage. A true triple threat—actor, singer, and dancer—he has taken on bold and diverse roles, from the bilingual lead of Antipholus/Antifolo/La Comedia of Errors to the delightfully devious Mr. Wormwood in Matilda. He brought flair to Beauty and the Beast as Monsieur D’Arque, rocked out as Theo in School of Rock JR, and embraced villainy as Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde JR. Max’s passion, versatility, and stage presence make him a standout talent to watch.
ELLIE KAPISAK (Francis Flute/Ensemble) is so excited to be back at TNP and cast in Something Rotten! JR! She was previously cast in Legally Blonde JR at TNP as Gaelen/ Ensemble. Other previous notable roles include Ms. Trunchbull/Matilda JR and Cruella De Vil/101 Dalmatians. Ellie is a 6th grader at North Naples Middle, and outside of theater she enjoys singing, and hanging out with all of her friends! Ellie would like to thank her family for encouraging her along the way and her voice teacher, Melissa, for helping her continue to grow vocally! Ellie is so happy to be a part of this cast and hopes you enjoy the show!
SOFIA LUGO (Troupe/Ensemble) is a 6th grader at Gulfview Middle who has a passion for acting, singing and dancing. She is thrilled to be performing alongside this talented cast and crew. Previous TNP credits include Brooke Wyndham/Legally Blonde JR, Shonelle/School of Rock JR and Lucinda/Into The Woods JR. Offstage, Sofia enjoys dancing with Hit The Floor Studios, playing tennis and piano, and socializing with friends. Sofia is grateful to be part of TNP as a performer, volunteer, and member of the Jr. Leadership Team. She would like to thank her family, her amazing voice and dance teachers, and the entire team at TNP for making this all possible. Sofia hopes you enjoy this show!
MADISON MANCE (William Shakespeare) Madison is originally from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and has called Florida home since February 2022. She is a 7th grade student at The Village School and studies dance at Hit The Floor Dance Studio, and voice with Kellie Cullinan. Madison was most recently seen as Mary Beth in A Christmas Story alongside her mom. Other recent roles: Elle Woods/Legally Blonde JR, Patty/School of Rock JR, Young Bonnie/Bonnie And Clyde (TheatreZone), Dance Captain/Les Filles/Ensemble/Beauty And The Beast JR, Rapunzel/Into The Woods JR, Marta-Saltzburg Cast/The Sound Of Music, and Nancy/Newsies JR. Madison is grateful to Molly and Petey for giving her this amazing opportunity to work with such a fun, talented cast! Huzzah!
ANTHONY AVOLA (Assistant Lighting Designer) has never worked with The Naples Players before and he is excited to be a part of it. He is currently a junior at the Community School of Naples and hopes to be a part of more productions in the future. He’s happy to be welcomed into TNP and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
PETEY BITZEL (Music Director) is a versatile music director and performer. He has starred in leading roles in several award-winning films and theater productions, showcasing his impressive range and talent. Many additional accolades come from his work behind the scenes, where he has earned awards for his original music and sound design in numerous film productions. A skilled musician with a deep understanding of vocal performance, Pietro has studied music his entire life and has been a vocal coach to multiple students. He specializes in post-production and audio, bringing a unique perspective to his work as a music director. Pietro Buzzelli is thrilled to be back with The Naples Players for Something Rotten Jr, after previously music directing Legally Blonde Jr, and is looking forward to the Summer production of Beetlejuice Jr.
MELANIE DIAZ (Assistant Stage Manager) is a passionate and dedicated theatre enthusiast who has spent the past four years honing her skills as an assistant stage manager throughout her high school career. With a keen eye for detail and a love for the performing arts, Melanie has contributed to various productions, helping to ensure each show runs smoothly. She is thrilled to be taking on her first show as an assistant stage manager at The Naples Players, where she looks forward to collaborating with a talented team and bringing stories to life on stage. Melanie’s commitment to excellence and her enthusiasm for theatre continue to inspire those around her as she embarks on this exciting new journey.
AMY HUGHES (Props Designer) is excited to be propping such an amazing production. Amy is mostly known for her credits on stage in shows such as Marian/ The Music Man and Mona/Chicago. She is so excited to step into the role of a lifetime as the properties director for The Naples Players and looks forward to an amazingly creative future.
