In the past year, you turned to us as your trusted guide to provide a safe environment to explore and engage with the power of the arts. You allowed our team of talented professionals to help inspire and educate artists of all ages and abilities in our community.

For those looking to find a meaningful connection – to our community, the arts, and each other – our doors are open. The local talent, resources, knowledge, and camaraderie are what make us a model community theater.

From classes for infants to workshops for seasoned professionals, we listened to students and developed the curriculum they craved—curriculum that also teaches critical life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and accountability that help them and our community thrive.

This theater creates a culture of acceptance and is my home away from home. I am challenged to be a better person and have so much pride in what I do.

U NPA R A L L E L E D C OM M UN IT Y O UTRE ACH Every year, as the demand for our off-site arts-focused therapy programs grows, we are humbled by the number of people who allow us into their lives.

Our partners continue to open their doors to allow TNP programs to reach those in our community impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, autism, trauma, and much more.

TNP also offers a “Pay What You Can” program, so that audiences of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds can attend the theater and foster a love of the arts in their families.

There are no other theaters in the state working so deeply to build community through the power of theatre.

Unsung Member Award Recipients

TNP Life Achievement Award

The Unsung Member Award was established in 1998 by the late Edna Springer, who wanted to recognize the individuals who volunteer countless hours of talent and originality to productions, aside from acting. She wanted to recognize those volunteers who inspire new members to work and promote good will and camaraderie. She wanted this member to be worthy of being remembered for years.

The Life Achievement Award is the most prestigious award TNP can bestow upon a volunteer. It is given to a volunteer who has served the organization for ten years or more, who has volunteered over 2000 hours and who has served consistently above and beyond the call of duty.
