The Narrow Path What is the Narrow Path? The ones who have conviction. The ones who follow their own path. The ones who’ve set standards for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. The ones who know how easy it is to give up, but don’t. The ones who refuse to be influenced by negative or evil. The ones who care about others. The ones who take pride in their work. The ones who understand the significance in humility. The ones who show, demonstrate, and give love. The ones who value their integrity. The ones who stay ready. The ones who willingly give. The ones who look out for the other’s sake. The ones who are unselfish. The ones who understand the importance of setting a proper example. The ones who don’t overly and consciously indulge in sin. Yes, this is one who walks the Narrow Path. The ones who have faith. The ones who believe. The ones who teach themselves selfdiscipline. The ones who are patient, even when they don’t want to be. The ones who sacrifice for the greater good of us all. The ones who are true leaders. The ones that teach positive things. The one who cares about what he tells you. The one who prays for others. Jackie Roosevelt Robinson
Jack Roosevelt Robinson was born in Cairo, Georgia in 1919 to a family of sharecroppers. His mother, Mallie Robinson, single-handedly raised Jackie and her four other children. They were the only black family on their block, and the prejudice they encountered only strengthened their bond. From this humble beginning would grow the first baseball player to break Major League Baseball's color barrier that segregated the sport for more than 50 years.
