Since the last album “Death of My Ego“, he changed his name, image and direction in life. Originally titled “Set The Bar”, the decision made to change the name, started once he started growing as a person and discovering new hobbies and likes. This changed the direction in the music as well. The purpose is to set an example for those that seek it especially a younger audience.

EP of the Year with ”The Yodfather” (EP Review)

Your Old Droog is a Ukrainian American underground MC who caught my attention when he dropped his self-titled debut. Many actually first thought he was an alter ego of Nas given that their voices are somewhat similar, but eventually became a legend in his own right off later projects such as Packs well as It Wasn’t Even Close, TIME & more recently the Nicholas Craven -produced YOD Wave that dropped this past spring. YOD Stewart & Yodney Dangerfield both weren’t as great in my opinion, but certainly had it’s highlights at the same time & had interest in his 8th EP over here which I don’t mind in light of him going on Twitter saying he’ll drop a 6 -track EP the next time someone complains to him about another 7-track EP.

Then he drops No Hook Stick and Everything Changes straight lyrical Molotov's and Everything Changes is the song that gets you thinking about life and what you really want out of it.Then we switch gears to dropping that pressure on these folks necks with This Ain't What You Want Say A Prayer and Don't Think About It . After that Paid A Price Rich Rell Ft Freaky Focus tells you about the hard work and sacrifice it took to get here. Freaky ends this insanely dope album with Heart Cold and Never Change to classic hits about people not being real and switching up on you this is Real Life Music.
