Meet Indie Pop/Rock Musician "Azwel" from Commack, New York

Azwel is a project that involves songwriter Jason Perrillo. For the past 10 years, he has been recording and producing his own independently released albums in his home studio in New York.

He describes the music as interesting melodic, catchy pop with songs that are influenced by various styles of music. The sound is often compared to 70's-90s brit pop/rock artists.

Known for being an extremely prolific and busy writer, Jason releases at least one album per year and sometimes more.

These tracks were created between spring 2018 and September 2018, with the exception of ‘Swift as the Breeze’.

That one was made during the Concert For One sessions in spring 2017. A lot of patient waiting and soul gyrating.

Darryl Rodway once said to me “hey Moke.. how come you never wear Napoleon Dynamite type of boots for an album cover shoot?” I simply replied, “horsejazz, D…who better to do what I do better?” Darryl had no option but to concede to an agreeing nod. URBNET knows what type of a ride we are on. Like a slow, lumbering, freight train, on maintenance-deferred trackage. It may not be glamorous but darned if the sonic din doesn’t make a few dogs howl. And with that, we now present Patina. (For ages 8 and up, no assembly required, batteries not included).

Alex Lahey likes to keep it real. The 24 -year-old Australian musician takes her rise up the ranks from music student to ‘an ar tist with one of the most highly anticipated debut albums of 2017’ in her stride .

Marker went through college with him without knowing the friend's entire experience , which made it easy for Marker to come to his own conclusion about his friend's actions . When his friend eventually told him, the Seattle musician was inspired to share his friend's stor y.
