OUR HEATED DESKS ARE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED SO THAT THE HEAT IS DIRECTED DOWN UNDERNEATH THE DESK, USING INSULATION WITH RADIANT HEAT TECHNOLOGY.

The radiant heat produced by our desks permeates the air like sun rays, heating the user as opposed to the air itself. instead, the heat is pushed down onto your body, keeping your legs, torso, arms, and wrists warm.

Not only does radiant heat promote better circulation which helps tired muscles and joints relax but it can also alleviate pain or soreness.

Conventional radiators and fan heaters warm the air in the room, allowing the warm air to accumulate below the ceiling as well as spreading dust and germs. Our okoform desks offer a more efficient and healthier heating method, with the cooler air creating a more pleasant indoor environment.

Here at ökoform, our goal is to provide comfortable, well-heated working environments across the country for a fraction of the average heating costs of standard gas and electric heating options.

We are using the example of a fan heater. For every fan heater removed from your office, you could be saving around £25.20 per week (based on £0.28 kWh, 8 hour working day, five days per week over a five month period).

The average desk fan heater uses between 2500-3000 watts. At just 260 watts, our desks are 90% cheaper to run, costing only 4.5p an hour.
