NEIGHBORHOODA message NEWS from Kat Hello Oceanside Residents, The cooler weather will be headed our way soon and I know we are all ready for a heat break! The kids are back to school, which means we will be Celebrating Labor Day to honor the American labor movement and the contributions of workers! Monday, September 7th @ 12pm will be our Labor Day Party! Subs will be the main dish, so make sure you sign up at the office with what you will be bringing to share! Please be mindful of the 10 mph speed limit in our neighborhood. Our roads are too narrow to be driving any faster than that. SLOW DOWN. All dogs must be leashed at ALL times and are not allowed in the clubhouse. Kat’s work hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday 9-3 and Friday 9-12. If you need to turn any paperwork in after hours, you can slide it under my door. Our Fall Yard Sale is scheduled for October 16th & 17th, make sure to mark your calendars! Easy Z ucchini Bread INGRE D IENTS • 1 & 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour • 2 tsp ground cinnamon • 1 tsp baking soda • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 cup (125ml) vegetable oil • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar • 2 large eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 2 cups (1 medium) grated zucchini, (do not peel or drain the excess moisture)

INSTR UC TIO N S 1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x5” loaf pan. 2. In a large bowl, toss together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. 4. Stir in the grated zucchini. 5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Spoon batter into the prepared baking pan. 6. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
