Manager’s Message 🍂 Happy October, Crestview! It’s hard to believe fall is already here! October is such a wonderful time of year in the Lowcountry. The mornings are beginning to feel a little cooler, the days are becoming more comfortable, and we finally get a little break from the heat of summer. It’s the perfect time to slow down, get outside, enjoy a nice walk around the community, and spend some time with family, friends, and neighbors. Fall also brings a nice change of pace to our community. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the beautiful weather and get out and enjoy Life. Whether you’re sitting on your porch, taking a stroll, visiting with a neighbor, there are plenty of simple ways to enjoy the season.
🎃 Coming Together Again
Lately, I’ve really enjoyed seeing more of you getting together and spending time with one another. It’s nice to see little groups forming, neighbors stopping by to visit, and people finding ways to enjoy each other’s company again. I really love seeing that! It doesn’t have to be a big event to be enjoyable. Sometimes it’s just sitting around the table sharing a meal, working on a craft together, having a cup of coffee, or catching up with a neighbor you haven’t seen in a while. It’s those simple moments that can make a community feel like home. I hope you all will keep it going! If there’s something you’ve been wanting to do with your neighbors, don’t be afraid to get it started. Grab a few neighbors, and see where it goes. You never know who might want to join in for a little fun!

🐾 Meet Arthur!
Arthur belongs to Kelli M. He is a 16-year-old cancer survivor who was given about five years after his surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. That was nine years ago! He is still full of spunk and loves life. Arthur enjoys visiting the neighbors, especially when treats are involved, and he absolutely loves his pup cups! He is a brave little fighter and a true joy to everyone who meets him.
