Resident Centric • Coffee and Donut Hour was held with the Social Club Meeting on August 5th at 11:00 am to plan this month’s events. Our next Coffee and Donut Hour/Social Club Meeting will be on September 2nd at 11:00 am. We invite everyone to join in and share ideas for future events while enjoying coffee and donuts together! • Bingo was held August 7th and August 21st with a lot of happy winners joining in the fun! This month’s bingo will be on September 4th with a second Bingo on September 18th both starting at 3 pm. Congratulations to all the winners! • The Ice Cream Social held August 14th was a cool treat. What can top a hot day better than delicious ice cream, yummy! • Movie night was held on August 17th, featuring “Six Days, Seven Nights” and popcorn. What a great show and delicious popcorn! Thank you Mia and Ken for making this happen! • Thank you, Susan M., for organizing the Scrabble game that was held August 25th! Scrabble will be held on the last Tuesday of the month starting at 1 pm. It’s a great way to exercise our brains while having fun!!

Please power wash your home if needed. • Remember our pet policies that all dogs must be on a lease and their droppings picked up and disposed of properly. UPCOMING EVENTS at Beach Cove Coffee & Donuts and Social Club Meeting - Please join us for coffee and donuts during the social club meeting on September 2nd starting at 11:00 am. We want everyone to bring their ideas and help create new fun events. Bingo – Bingo will be held on September 4th and September 18th starting at 3 pm. Be sure to bring your lucky charms and try to win a game or two! Jimmy Buffet End of Summer Labor Day Party on September 7th Starting at 1 pm – What a great way to spend Labor Day enjoying Jimmy Buffet music and eating hamburgers & hot dogs and drinking margaritas by the pool or in the clubhouse with your friends and neighbors! Be sure to join in the fun! Movie Night – Join us on September 14th starting at 6 pm for a great movie (to be determined) and delicious popcorn! Chinese Dinner - If you love Chinese food you won’t want to miss the Chinese dinner planned for September 26th starting at 4 pm. Don’t forget your chopsticks! We will have forks too!

Scrabble with Susan – Join Susan on September 29th in a challenging game of Scrabble. It’s a great way to exercise your brain while having fun!! Starts at 1 pm in the clubhouse. Water Aerobics – Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays starting at 10 am. Have fun while keeping healthy! Happy Hour at the Tiki – Enjoy the afternoon with your neighbors and friends at the Tiki Hut every Friday beginning at 4 pm. Bring your favorite beverage and snacks while you catch up with the latest from your friends! Horseshoes – As always, the horseshoe players and spectators are out there every Sunday at 1 pm challenging their friends and neighbors to play a fun game! We have some talented players so stop by and cheer them on!

2026 Ice Cream Social

Easy Z ucchini Bread INGRE D IENTS • 1 & 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour • 2 tsp ground cinnamon • 1 tsp baking soda • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 cup (125ml) vegetable oil • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar • 2 large eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 2 cups (1 medium) grated zucchini, (do not peel or drain the excess moisture)

INSTR UC TIO N S 1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x5” loaf pan. 2. In a large bowl, toss together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. 4. Stir in the grated zucchini. 5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Spoon batter into the prepared baking pan. 6. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
