Thanksgiving Point was founded in 1995 to cultivate transformative family learning. In 2004, the first Tulip Festival drew thousands to explore hundreds-of-thousands of tulips in hundreds of varieties in search of flowers and warmer weather. Today, you’ll find that same mission guiding a journey of botanical beauty and hands-on fun with some fun new surprises along the way. Visit us after the conclusion of the event when Tulip Festival bulbs are dug up and sold, allowing you to create your very own Tulip Festival.

Activities & Events Swing Dance April 26 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Dance the night away with friends or that special someone. The Utah Swing Orchestra will be on hand to set the stage under the bistro lights at the Waterfall Amphitheatre. Included with festival admission.

Tulip Tot Playland

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10 am – 6 pm, and Monday evenings

Ongoing fun for the whole family including lawn games, bounce houses and more! Included with festival admission.

American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic

May 4 7:30 pm

The Tulip Festival closes with a fantastic finish with this amazing, Star Wars themed concert on May 4th.

The Lyceum Philharmonic at American Heritage School performs against a gorgeous garden backdrop you won’t want to miss. Included with festival admission.

Cut Tulips in the Learning Garden

Monday–Thursday Noon –8 pm and Fridays – Saturdays 10 am – 8 pm

Did you know that tulip stems continue to grow even after they are cut? Come see for yourself at the Learning Garden, and take home your own bunch of Cut Tulips (5 per bunch), with over 10 varieties to choose from and learn about. One bunch of tulips is $10 ($9 for Thanksgiving Point members). Available while supplies last.

French Parterre Garden

The Secret Garden is one of the most popular locations in Ashton Gardens.

Inspired by the book of the same name, you’ll want to check out spring flowers here.

One of the most picturesque locations at Ashton Gardens, the Italian Garden features brilliant tulips and the sound of cascading water.

Colorful hoops adorn the whimsical garden carousel sculpture to create a fantasy scene out of le magnifique jardin.

Waterfall Amphitheatre Grab something yummy at concessions or a trendy food truck, or browse our market booths (Thursday through Saturday). Sway to the spring music and people watch at the festival hub at the Waterfall Amphitheatre.
