APRIL 8 - MAY 7 Welcome to the 2022 Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival!

As you explore the wonders of the natural world, keep an eye out for the Thanksgiving Point Tulip, a commemorative tulip created especially for Thanksgiving th Point’s 25 anniversary.

Check bloom updates for the week, weather reports, get access to the map and schedule of vendors, food trucks, and performers, as well as a sneak preview for an exciting new summer adventure.

What’s Blooming?

Signs and colors of spring are showing throughout the gardens!

See if you can spot the following during your visit: Daffodils When people talk about daffodils they usually picture the traditional yellow daffodils - but did you know there are many colorful combinations of daffodils with white, coral, orange, peach and yellow? See if you can spot these ones blooming right now!

Forsythia shrub This plant is a colorful indicator that spring has arrived! Try to spot our forsythia tucked in shrub beds throughout the garden.

Hyacinths Right now, hyacinths are blooming throughout the garden. Keep your eye out for their pink and purple blooms and vibrant scent.

Fritillaria perscia A favorite among our gardens staff, this beautiful bloom is just starting to emerge.

Secret Garden The Secret Garden is one of the most popular locations in Ashton Gardens.

Inspired by the book of the same name, you’ll want to check out spring flowers here.

Italian Garden One of the most picturesque locations at Ashton Gardens, the Italian Garden features brilliant tulips and the sound of cascading water.

G Parasol Path As you enjoy the 300,000 tulips make sure to come take a stroll underneath the colorful parasols suspended from the trees.

H French Parterre Garden Colorful hoops adorn the whimsical garden carousel sculpture to create a fantasy scene out of le magnifique jardin.

Waterfall Amphitheatre Grab something yummy at concessions or a trendy food truck, or browse our market booths (Friday & Saturday). Sway to the spring music and people watch at the festival hub at the Waterfall Amphitheatre.

Waterwise Garden In the Waterwise Garden you will see smaller species of tulips that are drought tolerant.

All of the plants within this area are hardy, desert plants that can thrive in Utah.

K Tulip Riot Stroll among 30,000 tulips at Tulip Riot. How many varieties can you count?

Artist in Residence See Sarah Richards Samuelson at work, take some time to capture the flowers in your own way, and appreciate some tulip art.

We invite you to submit your favorite shots of the 2022 Tulip Festival

Enter your favorite photos of the 2022 Tulip Festival using hashtag #TulipPhotoContest and tagging Thanksgiving Point on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (Make sure your post is set to public!).

Starting April 16th, each Friday during the festival Thanksgiving Point judges will select a Photo of the Week which will be featured on Thanksgiving Point’s Instagram page (@thankspoint), and on the Thanksgiving Point marquee for the duration of the week. Each chosen photo will also win a Family Membership.
