THANKSGIVING POINT Thanksgiving Point is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm, garden, and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning.

Founded in 1995, Thanksgiving Point serves over 3 million guests annually at its venues and through a mix of programs including signature experiences, educational offerings, catered events, dining, and entertainment.

Thanksgiving Point was so named by founders Alan and Karen Ashton as an expression of gratitude to the community. Located in Lehi, Utah, Thanksgiving Point is at the center of Utah’s population growth, equidistant between Provo and Salt Lake City metro areas. Home to five major cultural venues: • Farm Country, guests explore the origins of our complex food supply while visiting a working farm. • Museum of Ancient Life, guests travel through time touring five halls showcasing fully articulated dinosaur fossils, interactive exhibits, and interpretative panels from different geological periods. • Museum of Natural Curiosity’s sprawling 45,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space and 5 acres of outdoor exhibits offers families a hands-on science experience focused on learning while being active. • Ashton Gardens is an estate garden, blooming over 55-acres and through 15 themed garden “rooms.”

• Butterfly Biosphere creates personal and global metamorphosis through interactive exhibits showcasing the ecological role and wonderful mysteries of 97 percent of the Earth’s species population: invertebrates like butterflies, Leafcutter Ants, Eastern Honeybees, and other animals. Thanksgiving Point’s unique combination of place and process aims to shape today’s problem solvers into the makers and innovators of tomorrow.
