Summer camp at Thanksgiving Point is the best place for kids ages 3-17 to enjoy summer break!

Single day, multi-day, and week-long day camps are designed and led by experienced instructors using inquiry-based approach for fun and learning. Sign up for play and a summer camp experience to be remembered!

Growing Leaders is Thanksgiving Point’s teen volunteer program. Enrolled in 4-H, club members have opportunities to learn, serve, and grow. Growing Leaders are encouraged and supported in their individual interests and passions. With multiple museums, classes, and events going on throughout the year, there are so many ways to get involved! Growing Leaders mentor children as summer camp counselors, help run events, take care of the gardens, and other duties based on their interests.

THANKSGIVING POINT GOLF CLUB MULTI-DAY CAMPS Join us for a great week of golf for kids of all skill levels, ages 6-15.

Campers will be able to learn and sharpen their skills with a strong emphasis on the fund amentals of iron play, driving, chipping, putting, rules & etiquette. We will also be focusing on fitness, STEM of Golf, and core values learned through playing the game. Each camp will be hosted by Class A PGA Director Tele Wightman and his trained team. EDUCATION PROGRAM POLICIES AND GENERAL INFORMATION At Thanksgiving Point we offer a range of programs to cultivate transformative learning for every age and background. Before you get started, there are a few things to remember.

Registration Process: Registration is required for classes. Registration must be made prior to the beginning of the class via phone, online, or in person. Payment is required upon registration.

Refund Policy: Summer Day Camps are not eligible for refunds.

Waitlist: If a class is full you may opt in to the waitlist. To be waitlisted, please call 801-768-4971. You will be notified by phone or email if a spot is available for the class.

Cancellations: Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient registration or other extenuating circumstances. If a cancellation occurs, registrants will be notified with at least 48-hour notice and a full refund will be issued. Registrants will also be notified if the class is rescheduled for a later date and/or time.

Registration Confirmation: Once you have registered for a class, you will receive a receipt and a ticket in your email. Class reminders and other additional information will be sent to this email.

Please ensure to give us your correct email, so we may contact you regarding your class registration.

Getting to Your Class: Thanksgiving Point currently has five different venues on two campuses: the Water Tower Campus includes the Museum of Ancient Life, Butterfly Biosphere and Farm Country. The Gardens Campus includes the Museum of Natural Curiosity and the Ashton Gardens. Please ensure you are aware of the venue where your class is held. If you have not visited Thanksgiving Point before and are not familiar with the venues, please enter the venue and not Thanksgiving Point into your GPS. This will allow it to guide you to the proper location. If you are uncertain of where your class is held, please contact our office during regular office hours and before your class is scheduled. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday, 9 am - Noon.
