ABOUT ME
I am currently a freelance landscape architect and facilitator in VietNam. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture. I have more than 2 years of experience working in Vietnam on landscape architectural.
I am particularly interested in sustainable design to create a greener and better living environment. Landscape architecture is an all-encompassing concept learning in many different aspects each other. I want to broaden my horizons and discover the creativity of myself in the environment active learning.

The design scope is the space limited by the back of 2 blocks (including internal alleys) with each rear facade being accessible to the design space.
The main idea behind the design is to create a space for interaction between the blocks of house

Me Linh Square - District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, VietNam
- Location: Traffic roundabout located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Size: 3300 m2
- Project type: Landscape public space of the traffic roudabout
- Client: Ho Chi Minh City’s Government
The embellishment follows the motto of keeping the architecture intact. In which the restoration of the statue of Saint Tran Hung Dao is the most important. The park area around the 3,300m2 monument is proposed to replace the floor tiles with natural granite. The park was planted with more trees and renewed the lighting system.

The image of the Bach Dang river flow moves throughout, rhythmically changes shape from the outside to the inside, intersects, develops continuously into an urban flow.
The image of a drop of water falling from a stream breaks into functional spatial bubbles - woven into the rhythms of the flow.
The bursting water bubbles seep into the soil and grow to form young shoots. Growth and development are formed.
Young shoots develop into mature, diverse, distinct patches
This is the intersection of six roads, in the middle there is an artificial lake with a statue of Tran Hung Dao

The 175 Hospital garden - Healing Garden offers a natural space within a healthcare facility for patients, family, and hospital staff. Its design aims to bring the benefits of the outdoors into the hospital, adding to the physical, psychological, emotional, and social elements of wellbeing and maximizing patients’ recovery.
The design area has a carport located directly below, so I applied the rules to design the roof garden to ensure that the depth of the green trees in the area does not affect the underground parking area. Chosing the plants harbor a connection with the local community and the incorporation of local flora into landscape garden.
The garden has an area of ramps with different heights for patients to practice physiotherapy. Surrounded by arrays of medicinal plants suitable for the nature of the garden. This not only provides an educational experience for the patients, but also allows them to develop their motor and sensory skills.

The design concept is inspired by the rhythmic of the flow of the area’s tides and the square of the existing shrimp ponds. The location of the land is next to the tourist area and residential area The research area plays a role in renovating the estuary ecosystem flowing into the sea and is the typical face of the ecosystem of the center of Cam Ranh city.

The topography of the area is different shrimp plates, ponds, lakes and different degrees of difference
- Highest point: +2.2m
- Lowest point: -2m
The shrimp beds have a depth of about 1-2m. The estuary flows into the lagoon with a depth of about 4.5m.
The area has topography of ponds, shrimp ponds, aquatic ponds with canals flowing inside the land, which is a factor that makes the area unique. The water level is almost stable every day. High tide covers about 30% of the area. Incoming tides bring salt water into the area, causing the estuary area to lack fresh water in the dry season. Besides, the transmission of tides into the river also enriches aquatic life in the estuary LAND

Each ecosystem has its own functions to harmonize the geomorphology of the land. It is mutually supportive to have its own benefits for the harmonious living of the area.
Under the influence of water currents and tides. Formation of ecological farming zones. Supplemening nutrients for flora and fauna.
DESIGN LANGUAGE
The curve is taken from the shape of the tidal waves that hit the shrimp plots.
Curves and squares are the dominant language in the design of the site.

Current status: shrimp farming area in the form of industry, production has not treated wastewater well, causing environmental pollution
Solution: raising shrimp and snails in a natural form, planting mangroves, floating vegetation to filter natural water

Current status: areas with patches of algae in ponds and lakes
Solution:create promenades from the existing road
Ecological water purification solution: forming layers of aquatic plants according to each water purification function in the lagoons to improve water quality
