Please Note: We have established opportunities for you to give your tithes and offerings during this public health crisis. One time slot is each Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. A Deacon or a Trustee will be available to collect offering envelopes. The second time slot is each Sunday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. We will continue to provide these two time slots until the crisis is over and will also have available the tithing box located in the side vestibule to place your envelope. Prior to the service a Deacon or a Trustee will be available to receive your offerings which will enable members to return home to watch the virtual broadcast. You may also continue to mail your tithes and offerings to the church at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Attn: Board of Trustees, 351 Joseph Avenue, Rochester, NY 14605, or they can also be placed in the secured mailbox slot on the right-side front door of the church.
Members who are in need of offering envelopes may contact Sis. Gwendolyn Wyatt in the church office who will get envelopes to you. Additionally, the Trustees are asking members to please check the appropriate category on your contribution envelope to indicate where you would like your donation designated, i.e., offering, tithes, Mission, other, etc.
The option to give your contributions online is in place for Mt. Vernon members. Attached are printed directions to access the online service. Please contact Sis. Kelly Glover for assistance if needed at 585-281-7321.

MT. VERNON’S ELECTRONIC GIVING PLATFORM GIVELIFY IS READY FOR YOUR USE!
Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church has entered a new era: the age of giving anytime, anywhere!
We are now signed up with Givelify, the mobile giving app designed for places of worship.
Givelify gives you a beautiful, easy giving experience using your smartphone. There are no requirements to complete a church envelope, frustrating web forms or text-to-give codes to memorize. Even better, it’s free for you to download and use.
It is totally safe and secure; throughout the year and for tax time, you have one-tap access to your complete donation records. You will still receive your annual giving statement directly from the church as well.
Make your offerings, tithes, foreign mission, building fund, scholarship fund, rally and special days gifts right from the palm of your hand. You can give to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church from wherever you are, while at church or when you are away.
You can make us your home place of worship on the Givelify app for quick one-tap access.
Remember, in order to give using your mobile phone, you will need to download the Givelify app for Android or iPhone.
To see how it works, click here: Watch the demonstration video that shows you all about how to make and track your giving. You can also click here or type this information in your web browser to view the demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmK5Fy9Yd4U
