Kauai Chorale Kauai Chorale’s 50th Anniversary Performances Continue Kauai Chorale thanks all who attended and helped make our 50th Anniversary Gala a huge success on October 19, 2013! Mahalo to: Lois Ricciardi, Director; our officers, entertainers, committees, and helpers from Kauai Chorale; Joe and staff of Joe’s on the Green; Mayor Carvalho for two proclamations honoring Kauai Chorale’s accomplishments over 50 years, and honoring director Lois Ricciardi for her 25 years of service as director; June Cooper for the special anniversary cake; Garden Island News for their great coverage; and all of our guests and supporters. It marked a very special milestone. The event succeeded in raising funds to support the Chorale’s efforts in the community, including providing the start-up for a scholarship fund. We honored three original members who were in attendance! Mahalo Kauai for great singers and audiences, to present and former directors, officers and members for building a foundation of excellence in music and performance. Your support empowers and inspires us entering the next 50 years of providing quality, enjoyable choral music performances for the Garden Island and gives us the momentum to grow in numbers, outreach and as musicians.
