Travelling to The Henley College is straightforward, safe, and an excellent opportunity for students to build independence, resilience, and essential life skills. Serving families across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire, we offer extensive transport links to make your journey as smooth as possible.
Navigating travel to college is more than just getting from A to B – it’s a chance to develop confidence, adaptability, and social skills that will prepare students for the next steps in life, whether that be university, employment, a gap year, or a future career. Our approach encourages students to manage their time, organise themselves, and take responsibility for their own journey – vital skills that stay with them for life.
For those who drive, we have a student car park* conveniently located in the centre of Henley-on-Thames, just minutes from college in a safe, accessible location. Many Year 12
students pass their driving test and use carpooling and shared travel options, offering a safe and flexible way to get to college while developing independence.
At The Henley College, our motto is “Question, Seek, and Grow.” We combine traditional values with forward-thinking approaches, preparing our students to realise their potential and future-proof their skills. We hope every student enjoys their time with us, joining a whole new generation who remember their Henley College experience fondly and go on to amazing futures.
*Please note that transport routes and timings may be subject to change. We recommend that parents and students regularly check the websites of relevant bus and train companies and download any official apps for up-to-date information.
*If you require more information about the use of the student car park please email info@henelycol.ac.uk
