真是神奇又有趣呢？
其實陽台觀察什麼都說不準。你可以耍點心
機讓鳥愛來，因而滿載而歸，但也可能無功而 返；別灰心，或許有意料之外的收穫可以等等 看。歡迎參閱「 Report No. 91 你永遠不知道 今天會看到誰 」。
最後， 小編仍然希望人們在看到本刊所載的 照片後也願意在他們的花園，陽台，或窗台上 種些樹。給樹澆水並不麻煩；觀察是如此有趣。

You never know what will you see today 你永遠不知道今天會看到誰
陽台的桑葚 (Mulberry) 果 子一顆顆轉紅了，現在正是拍 (或錄)鳥的好機會，或許對綠繡
眼的小嘴而言桑葚有點大，叼不 住；但對白頭翁而言絕對是最棒 的點心，一定是一口吞。怎麼知
道拍鳥的相機鏡頭要朝哪？焦距
要調多深？當然得早起勘查地形，
澆花前就看清楚有幾顆果子紅透
了？在哪裡？要從哪個角度拍光 線比較好？會不會被樹枝或樹葉 擋住？如不先做足功課，等鳥鳥 大駕光臨時，我一定會手忙腳亂， 無法拍出最棒的畫面。
最好是澆花時順便用花灑 噴點水滴在花上，愛乾淨的綠 繡眼能逃得過我幫他們放的洗 澡水的陷阱嗎？哈哈，我的心 機會不會太重了？（參閱 Vol. 1, Report No.6 孤挺花上的綠 繡眼）
一切準備就緒，人閃回屋 內，隔著落地窗，守株待 「鳥」…。
孤挺花(Amaryllis)也開花 了，一整年就這時候開兩朵，又 大又紅，是我陽台不可多得的寶 貝，拿來陪襯綠繡眼最好了，紅 花襯出綠鳥，畫面才會漂亮。
等了一陣子，一對白頭翁 (Pycnonotus sinensis)果然
來了，是阿肥和她的男朋友， 停在洋紫荊(Bauhinia purpurea)往外垂的枝條上。
她安安靜靜的休息著，因為她 的左腳受過傷，失去爪子不能 握，因此不太能立著站，因此
整個肚子貼放在洋紫荊的枝條上； 他則開始唱歌，心情好像不錯， 是用餐前的例行公事嗎？就這樣 幾分鐘過去了，沒有鳥想到要吃 果子，然後他們飛走了，獨留空 拿相機的我。
再隔一會兒，換來兩隻綠繡 眼(Zosterops japonicus)，飛 到落地窗前，在樹枝間跳來跳去， 離我超近的。跳了一會兒唱歌飛 走了，完全無視我為他們準備的 孤挺花浴，獨留空拿相機的我。
似乎讓人有點失落，正猶豫 要不要放棄我的作戰計畫。
突然來了一隻台灣紋白蝶 (Pieris canidia)，翩呀翩呀， 最後停在桑樹(Mulberry)的葉
子上。我趕快拿起相機猛按快 門，也管不了手上的相機裝的 是拍鳥用的伸縮鏡，不是平時
近拍昆蟲習慣用的餅乾鏡。牠 又翩呀翩地飛到印度紫檀 (Pterocarpus indicus)初冒的
嫩枝枒上停著，有點高也有點 遠，這時伸縮鏡派上用場了。
再翩呀翩地飛到桑樹的另一片 葉子上，後面不遠的地方正好 有一顆熟紅的桑果，拍起來畫
面豐富多了。
陽台觀察就是這樣有趣，什 麼都說不準。你可以耍點心機讓 鳥愛來，因而滿載而歸，但也可
能無功而返；別灰心，或許有意 料之外的收穫可以等等看。唯一 確定的是，你永遠不會知道今天 會看到誰。
No. 92 Spread wings (Pycnonotus sinensis)
鳳凰展翅
或許是為了吸引異性的注 意，或許是要宣示地盤，我不 知道。有時候白頭翁會展開牠 們的翅膀，短暫地靜止不動， 或許搭配一些叫聲。不是在伸 懶腰喔，也不是在整理羽毛喔， 更不是在做起飛前的動作喔！
2. 他似乎滿意了，轉停到公構樹的枝條上休息。 他在思考嗎?
3. 他似乎決定了，他要向全世界宣告： 這個陽台所有的果子都是我的…
5. 這樣分清楚了嗎?
No. 93 It's her A-Pui! (Pycnonotus sinensis)
她真是白頭翁阿肥
1. A-Pui, a Light-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus sinensis), found a red mulberry in the noon on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan
中午時候，白頭翁阿肥來我的 陽台，她發現一顆剛紅的桑果。
2. She bent the waist and elongated the neck to catch it. 她彎腰並且伸長脖去叼住它。
3. She got it! 她叼到了。
4. Note there was no paw distal to her left ankle. No doubt that was A-Pui.
左腳失去爪子，沒錯，她是阿肥。
No. 94 Moth, cocooning (Dasychira mendosa)
基斑毒蛾吐絲結繭
1. Dasychira mendosa, also known as brown tussock moth or hairy tussock moth, taking a rest on the leaf of the Golden rain tree (Cassia fistula) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan
2. 基斑毒蛾，又稱柑毒蛾，停在阿勃 勒葉面上。跟上次那隻不一樣，牠的 右邊觸角斷了，我發現牠時就這樣了。
4. 發現時已不再進食，周圍有些細絲， 大概是快結繭變蛹了。
9. 隔一天再觀察時，發現不知什麼時候冒出 黃黃的東西，大概是幼蟲化蛹時脫下的皮。

過了幾天，發現繭的一端有個洞，繭 裡是空的，應該是羽化成功離開了。

長喙天蛾
長喙天蛾，號稱台灣蜂鳥，是日行性的蛾(台灣的天蛾科約有八十 多種，大半都是夜行性的)。
訪花時，常以不可思議的飛翔軌跡瞬間轉向(因此拍照不容易)，在 花上定點振翅停滯於空中，或是橫飛、倒飛，再伸出長長的口管凌空 吸食花蜜。
腹末有一排長毛簇，如同飛機尾翼的功能可以保持平衡，常讓人 誤以為台灣也有蜂鳥(其實台灣沒有蜂鳥)。
因長得像會飛的蝦子，所以也有人稱牠「天蝦」或「飛蝦」。圓 溜溜的大眼睛、尖尖的嘴，我覺得有點像隻會飛的迷你海豚。

While feeding on flowers, a humming-bird hawk-moth with a hovering behavior, accompanied by an audible humming noise, looks remarkably like a hummingbird.
The moth is stagnant in the air with a very short duration and is sucking nectar from the flower using a proboscis. The eating skill makes it look like a hummingbird.

1. In the morning, I found several mature mulberries on the balcony in Taichung, Taiwan. 早上陽台上發現了幾顆熟的桑葚。
2. A pair of birds, Light-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus sinensis) came to my balcony; She saw that he had eaten one.
一對白頭翁來到我的陽台；她看到他吃了一顆。

白額高腳蛛，頭部前緣有 一條白色的橫帶，故名，俗稱"
旯犽(ㄌㄚˊ ㄧㄚˊ)"，音近
「喇牙」。聽說很會獵捕蟑螂， 因此算是益蟲。
大概是台灣居家常見蜘蛛
中最大的一種。今天突然遇到， 嚇一跳，就停在洗好晾乾的衣
服上，應該只是路過我的陽台， 之前沒看過，不是常駐客。
拍了兩張照片後就不知躲去哪 了。
