A caterpillar of Dasychira mendosa, also known as brown tussock moth or hairy tussock moth, visiting my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan 基斑毒蛾，又稱柑毒蛾，身體兩側有白黑白 像船槳的毛，前背上有像筆刷的四叢黃白色 毛，下背處有像紅寶石般鮮艷的斑塊，停在 馬拉巴栗(Pachira aquatica)葉面上。

On day 1, a dozen eggs were noted on the undersurface of a leaf (Pistacia chinensis) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan. There is a circle on the top of each egg. 黃連木葉背發現一打黃斑椿象的蛋，每個蛋頂有一 圈蓋子。
