Early Learning Centre We don’t want to fill children with our knowledge but allow children to dream, imagine, play and discover their own knowledge and love for learning.

It starts here. A holistic focus on the development of our students. A welcoming, nurturing and caring environment At our ELC, we believe children learn best when they have a sense of belonging. Early learning educators strive to provide a nurturing environment where all children are eager to attend; they feel safe, willing to take risks, share their thinking, ponder aloud, and challenge themselves. We are inspired by the Reggio Emillio philosophy and see each child as strong, capable and resilient, rich with knowledge and in awe of the world around them.

Infinite opportunities Our ELC a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment designed to be flexible and dynamic, to support and adapt to unique and creative learning styles. Children attending the ELC are part of the Immanuel community and are able to access extensive facilities to engage in all types of learning. Children have opportunities to learn in performing arts studios, gymnasiums, a swimming pool, science and technology laboratories, media studios, nature play spaces and much more.

IMMANUEL PRIMARY SCHOOL PROSPECTUS

Fostering a love of learning Our ELC has developed an inquiry-based curriculum following the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and Early Years Learning Framework. We aim to nurture children’s curiosity and their individual strengths, foster their love of learning and encourage their wonderings to flourish. We want all children to develop strong foundations for future learning. With this in mind, educators provide a balance between a play-based and a structured learning environment which incorporates a holistic approach, supporting each individual’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive potential. We strive to stimulate each child’s imagination, creativity and decision making skills, alongside developing crucial early language and numeracy skills. Immanuel ELC is an accredited Child Care provider which allows eligible families to access the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Our ELC has been rated ‘Exceeding the National Quality Framework’ across all seven quality areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS).
