The Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars Statement on the Tragic Loss of Life at Buford’s in Austin, Texas
Austin, Texas The Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars are heartbroken by the tragic loss of life at Buford’s in Austin, Texas.
Our deepest condolences go out to the families, friends, and loved ones of those killed, as well as to all those affected by this devastating tragedy. Acts of violence against innocent people are unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
Our thoughts are also with the first responders, medical professionals, and law enforcement officers who rushed to the scene and continue working tirelessly to support the victims and ensure the safety of the community.
In moments like these, we are reminded of the strength and resilience that define the people of Texas. We stand with the Austin community during this difficult time and remain committed to supporting efforts that promote safety, accountability, and unity.
The families of those lost, and all those impacted throughout the community, remain in our prayers.
