Howdy ,

Thank you to everyone for such a fun and engaging Summer Conference! This location and atmosphere were a new experience for our association, and we hope that the education, networking, and time with your family was a wonderful experience. Thank you for everyone for your help, feedback, and support! A special thank you to our Sponsors who helped make all special events happen!

Planning future in-person shows for our Association is always a challenge and we are always seeking feedback from the membership and exhibitors as to what education we can continue to offer. Even though the networking and a resort location are always a desired highlight , we must remember that the focus of Texas Turfgrass Association is to keep education as the forefront for advancing our industry.

Within this newsletter, I will have a survey attached, seeking feedback on what education we can offer in the realms of Sod, Commercial, Sports, and Golf. Our Committees have a duty to seek CEU’s for our pesticide license holders and that will always be available for your professional license. However, the day-to- day and direct education that we are all needing, or that your staff is lacking, is helpful to our association to know as well. Turf is our industry; I invite you all to help me help you and your staff by making our education top notch. Please participate in the survey I am including in this newsletter and from there, I will share all feedback with our board and committee, and we will try out best to diversify future conference sessions.

On Monday Night, TTA held a buyout of the Boat house at Margaritaville and raffled off prizes all night long while hosting a “closest to the pin’ contest with the Golf Simulator.

Raffle winners of the Night were: Brett Gorgas; Hayden Smith; David Gonzales; Casey Knapp; Tom Crespin; Weston Floyd; Weslee Green; James Grant and so many TTA Families!!

A great big Thank you to everyone that participated! We hope to keep nights like this featured at each TTA Conference and show and most importantly, we hope to keep Summer Events improving!
