Early Schematic Visualization of the Project
A speculative development project ulitizing valuable tools during the design phase like visualizations, design/build techniques, and efficient cost and construction analysis 18027 Concord Office Building
A 60,000 SF, ground-up, speculative development that utilized design/build efficiencies with the Buccini Pollin Group and BPGS Construction. The developer secured Marlette Funding as the single tenant for the building in the midst of Tevebaugh’s design phase. Tevebaugh worked closely with the development team to optimize the flexibility of the footprint in conjunction with the usable square footage of the floor plates. The shell and core design developed by the team includes custom metal-work surrounds in the masonry fenestrations, as well as an intricate and subtle juxtaposition of varying metal panel thickness and colors on the primary facade. The early project visualizations and design were valuable marketing tools utilized by the landlord in the process of marketing the property to potential tenants, as well as eventually securing the lease with Marlette.

New flagship headquarters featuring state-ofthe-art sustainability, resiliency, and flexibility.
Chesapeake Utilities approached Tevebaugh to consolidate the operations of four separate offices, two storage facilities, a maintenance and materials supply yard, and a compressed natural gas filling station onto a new 20-acre campus in Dover, Delaware. The result is a new flagship facility for their companies that includes a 55,000 SF Conference Center modern office that prioritizes daylighting and flexibility, supported by a common conferencing center. The project features innovative and sustainable natural gas technologies, and achieved Green Globes Certification for its approach to sustainability, health, and wellness.

AAA’s Mid-Atlantic Headquarters, located on the Wilmington Riverfront, is in the beginning phase of construction following a reprogramming initiative and collaborative workspace integration. The renovation spans across all six floors, and constitutes 23,000 SF of the building. Design efforts include new, open meeting areas, five open-concept pantries, phone rooms, executive offices, copy spaces, conference and interview rooms. In addition to working alongside clients and departmental user-groups, our team was involved with the coordination of move-management, furniture and A/V vendors.

The new Hypersonic Center of Excellence occupies a prominent location at the entrance of Northrop Grumman’s Elkton Campus. The modern facility is transforming the image of the manufacturing site that was established in 1948.

Our team was challenged with master planning a new Hypersonic Center of Excellence for Northrop Grumman’s (NG) Elkton Campus. The project is arguably one of the biggest modernization projects of the site’s 70+ year history. The center consists of a 60,000sf classified hypersonic manufacturing facility and a three story 78,000 sf research, design, and engineering facility. Pictured above is the completed manufacturing facility. The project’s main goal is to provide NG with a secure modern facility that will enable them to support National Security with full lifecycle production for hypersonic weapons.

ChristianaCare’s new 187,000-square-foot logistics and distribution center also serves a vital role to the region’s largest healthcore organization as the central pharmacy. With a substantial investment of $25.6 million, this project reflects ChristianaCare’s commitment to fortifying the effectiveness and efficiency of their healthcare supply chain. The design process focused on creating a centralized and streamlined operation, quadrupling existing warehouse capacity in New Castle County, and anticipating future needs with provisions for specialty items. In addition to serving the two main Hospitals the Central Pharmacy will also provide pharmacy services to the organization’s wide variety of freestanding outpatient clinics and MOBs across the region.

In response to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the renovated warehouse emerges as a critical asset, ensuring a prompt and secure distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential materials to patient care locations. Beyond immediate storage solutions, our design allows for seamless expansion into specialty and procedural items. Aligned with ChristianaCare’s long-term strategy, this project contributes to industry trends in supply chain maximization, and mitigates against growing costs in the U.S. healthcare system.

The College of Health Science is the first University program to move to the new STAR (Science, Technology and Advanced Research) campus. The program includes outpatient treatment facilities, such as physical therapy and health care services. It also houses human mobility labs, classrooms, and faculty offices. The design focused on orienting visitors to easily navigate the large facility, providing a color palate that provided both interest and serenity, and meeting the technical needs of the approximately 400 staff members and daily users of the facility.

22016 Allied Health Center of Excellence
The Brandywine Campus is a 41.5 acre development, which will include up to three buildings and associated site development. The main building is situated to take advantage of views of the woodland area with glass walls extending floor to ceiling in the double-height space. Phase one of the project, which is currently under construction, consists of a new 60,000 square foot building that will provide classrooms, administrative offices, a library, cafe, bookstore, student services facilities, and a student commons, The university has decided to depart from its Georgian architectural style, opting for a campus of contemporary buildings to express their mission of providing 21sr century education to their students.

A thoughtful renovation and expansion of 12 existing Labor and Delivery rooms at the Christiana Hospital, the project upgrades the existing facilities bringing them in line with the new adjacent Women’s and Infant’s building. Working within the confines of the existing Labor and Delivery Suite, the design team meticulously adapted the established standards to ensure a consistent clinical environment and continuity in the patient experience. Phased construction during continuous operations necessitated a thorough survey of existing conditions, coordination with critical hospital systems, and mindful documentation to anticipate each phase. Close collaboration with the awarded general contractor and ChristianaCare project management staff delivered a smooth, efficient construction process.

This new 75,000 square foot sports, convocation, and educational center creates the opportunity for Neumann students to embrace both sports and spirituality throughout their college experience. With classrooms, game rooms, multi-purpose spaces, and sports facilities, the student center is designed to encourage students to gather and socialize. The main gymnasium is 14,300 square feet with a collegiate level basketball court, bleachers, and a running track. The Community Hall, or auxiliary gymnasium, is 6,850 square feet and also has a collegiate level basketball court. A new center for sports, spirituality, and character development in the heart of the campus

The location of this facility as well as the new pedestrian-oriented “heart” of the campus ties into the overall master plan for the University. A new central landscaped plaza, increased parking, new traffic pattern and land available for future expansion, has created a safer environment for the students. This building has created a new identity for the campus by changing its visual and locational orientation focusing on pedestrian activity and spaces.

Since its creation in 2016, the original Mill Space co-working fitout on the 4th floor of the Nemours building in downtown Wilmington has seen exponential growth and success. Tevebaugh teamed up with BPG and The Mill to lead the design team through construction documents and construction administration for the Mill’s expansion to the 7th floor. This latest phase will serve three private tenant suites that will share common core services between them. Each of the tenants enjoys the security and privacy of dedicated co-working areas for the respective teams, while also benefitting from co-located common core elements that are available to each of the tenants on the floor.
