TE HUI WHAKAMOE TAU A NGAI TUHOE (Draft Runsheet) SATURADY 11TH DECEMBER 2021 10:30AM – 12:30PM Overview;
This year’s Hui Whakamoe Tau will be held online. A live broadcast has been worked on and this year when we present online there will be a combination of Pre Recorded and Live material. The hui headquarters where the broadcast will stream from will be at Te Kura Whare. Te Kura Tanata and Te Kura Whenua will have a satellite link so that live interaction will be achievable between the 3 whare. Each Whare will also host up to 25 people(We have not been able to confirm a Te Waimana venue with Waimana Tari) This connectedness will offset some of the disappointment felt by not being able to be together side by side and acknowledge the collective Tūhoe endeavour, learnings and effort of the year. Each of our whare will be operating with stringent COVID health and Safety standards including the Red Light Gathering restrictions. Individual Tūhoe people will have access to a special private link by request (through communications channels) where they will be able to view but not interact directly with the Live Broadcast. Attendance to Te Kura Whare will be prioritised for those that are integral to the running of the broadcast. Attendance at Te Kura Whenua & Te Kura Tanata will be prioritised by Waikaremoana & Ruatāhuna
