Sell or donate unneeded pieces Make a home inventory of major items and items with potential moving issues Begin to remove clutter starting with the basement, attic and garage and out-buildings Start a file of moving paperwork, records and expenses, may be used for possible tax credits and claims For Kids: arrange to transfer school records For Family: arrange to transfer medical, dental and legal records; ask for referrals from current professionals For Pets: transfer veterinary records. Have pets immunized, if necessary Start coordinating getting your new home ready.
