I want to take a moment to recognize all that we’ve done as a global community to adapt to this new reality—shifting overnight to virtual tools and technologies, thinking “outside the box,” and overcoming obstacles across time zones and regions to help some of those most in need.

From the Solomon Islands to Nigeria and from Iraq to Guatemala, the faces you’ll see in this publication are just a few of the entire Tetra Tech family who have remained resilient, connected, and committed despite challenges and adversity.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING Whether it’s mapping land for agricultural purposes or ensuring children have access to proper sanitation services, our teams have remained focused on ensuring communities are equipped with the basic building blocks of maintaining good health—food, water, and hygiene.

ADAPTIVE WORKPLACES Across the world, Tetra Tech’s staff employ creativity and lean on our team spirit to not only meet health and safety guidelines in our workspaces, but to adapt the way we deliver our program activities to ensure we reach and positively impact the communities we serve.

PROSPERITY AND GROWTH Despite the challenges of this year, our agriculture teams have remained focused on their mission— supporting food security, nutrition, and economic growth in regions of the world that need it most.

YOUTH INCLUSION In insecure areas, our staff are committed to continue engaging with and educating our youth to be more aware of the risks around them, ensuring that future generations thrive safely.

LEADING BY EXAMPLE Throughout the Pacific, our teams are living and breathing the basic values of public health—washing our hands and wearing masks to protect ourselves and those around us.

EXPANSIVE EDUCATION Whether it’s safely overseeing construction of schools or visiting refugee communities to deliver socially-distant mine risk education, our teams have pivoted to continue providing one of the world’s most essential services—education for our children.

COMMUNITY BONDS As this year moved us physically apart, it challenged our norms and how we define community. From sewing and donating masks in Nigeria to sociallydistant beekeeping workshops in Colombia, we found ways to band together and to protect and support those around us.

RESILIENT FAMILIES

Our teams around the world—from Peru to Iraq and Colombia to Ukraine— celebrate the time 2020 has afforded us with loved ones near and far and the global family we all are a part of—the Tetra Tech family.
