— FROM THE DESK OF OUR CLUB PRESIDENT — Dear Members, As the summer season comes to a close, I hope that everyone was able to enjoy the Club. It was good to see Golf, Racquet Sports, Aquatics, Wellness and Food & Beverage in full operation. Please remember that our winter offerings are also greatly expanded with our wellness programs, the year-round lap pool, Racquet Sports Dome, our golf simulator and our outstanding dining offerings. While feedback on the golf course renovation was positive, we will be making some changes for the 2024 golf season. Fescue on the fairway sides of the bunkers will be trimmed down to allow balls to freely roll into the traps. We will also be replacing the pine on 15 that came down due to storm damage. After consideration from the golf committee, we have decided to replace the fallen pine with a group of spruce that will be slightly further out of play but will still shape the approach into the green. This will ensure that 15 remains a key strategic hole on the course as the green matures, making it easier for approach shots to hold the green. On the tenth hole, the extensive fringe around the green will be reduced and replaced with fairway running closer to the green. All members should have received the 2023 Annual Membership Survey. The survey, with only subtle refinements from last year, covers all aspects of the club experience. We sincerely encourage all members, both primary members and spouses, to complete the Club surveys and provide their feedback in the comments section. The information gathered from the survey is extremely valuable and helps management establish priorities in the coming year as well as evaluate our progress toward improvement compared to the benchmarks established from last year’s survey. The 2023 survey is now closed, however, you may always provide candid feedback to our management team. We will be providing a summary of the 2023 results along with comparisons to the previous year to monitor our progress in early November. The master plan and the priorities to be addressed in our upcoming Clubhouse Upgrade and Expansion remain the same although we have made several changes in the process. The Executive Committee changed the architect for the project to a local Jackson firm, Prospect Studio, led by resident and member, John Carney. In addition, we selected Shaw Construction as our Construction Manager. We feel that this allows us to be more responsive to the unique variables within the Jackson Hole market and be more confident in keeping the project within a feasible budget that the Club can afford. Fortunately, Prospect Studio has been able to use much of the initial due diligence allowing us to keep within our initial budget estimates and still be able to commence construction in late 2024. We will send out a dedicated update, near the end of the year outlining the revised conceptual drawings and timeline. The Executive Committee has also been closely evaluating the right balance of usage within our membership categories: golf, racquet sports and social. We do have a waiting list for membership and need to evaluate capacity utilization across the various areas of the Club to ensure acceptable access to all areas. As we progress with the introduction of the fitness center and improvement of the existing clubhouse facilities, balancing out capacity throughout the Club will be an important component toward member satisfaction and the Club’s overall success Thank you for your tremendous support as we help lay the foundation for a bright future. John O’Dwyer | TPCC President

— A MESSAGE FROM THE GM — Dear Members, First, I want to start by saying “thank you!” to all members who have strongly supported the Club throughout the year. Usage was robust and we enjoyed strong patronage of our Club’s major events. Julie introduced a number of new tennis and pickleball clinics, Jeffrey introduced an End of School Pool Party, and Patrick offered the 2nd annual Wine Bazaar, as well as a recent wine dinner, and Matt offered our first Member/Employee Season-end Golf Mixer, which we hope to become an annual tradition. As we transition through the fall to our winter season, we have an abundance of activities planned to keep Teton Pines an integral part of your daily life. Patrick is working with his team to shorten the “shoulder season” with lunch reopening on Tuesday, October 31st, and dinner on the 1st of November! The November dinner menu will offer a more casual cuisine during this quieter time in the Valley. Chef Laura has prepared a wonderful variety of updated “family style to-go” menus to reactivate this popular program. There will even be a Thanksgiving “to go” meal available if you decide not to spend it at the Club and don’t want the stress of preparing food at home. But before all those mouthwatering Thanksgiving dishes are served, make plans to join us for the 3rd annual Turkey Trot on Wednesday, November 22nd. A 5K walk, jog, or run for all ages and abilities around Teton Pines. As we progress into the holiday season in December, we start with our Racquet Sports Jamboree on Saturday, December 9th. Next, on Thursday, December 14th we have a new offering - an Ugly Sweater Complimentary Christmas Cocktail Party including cheerful Christmas cocktails, light bites, and a best “ugly” sweater competition. A special dinner buffet will be offered following the cocktails. The children will be excited for our Santa’s Brunch on December 17th which includes gingerbread cookie decorating. Then of course, our traditional Member Christmas Parties the four nights leading up to Christmas Eve, December 20th through 23rd. The Clubhouse will be beautifully decorated for the season with a soaring pine harvested locally by our team and the parties will feature caroling with Rebecca Ryan, ornament making, a visit from Santa, a wonderful buffet, and tasty libations; the perfect recipe for creating cherished memories with your loved ones. The Club will also serve an elegant prix fixe Christmas Eve Dinner and a roaring New Year’s Eve party. In addition to holiday planning, the end of the year also means it is time for our business planning process to establish our budget for the coming year. We are midway through establishing our schedules, programs, and strategic priorities for next year that are aligned with the Executive Committee’s overall strategic plan. Dues are one component of our budget and are used to operate the Club, enabling us to offer the numerous events and activities that allow our members to connect with one another and enjoy the facilities. Although the dues have been adjusted to align to a more balanced private club business model, they are still below the median for comparable size clubs across the nation. Driving operational usage and engagement while improving efficiency is another key component of the plans for next year. The final component of our budget is the capital improvements to maintain the Club to a high standard and add relevant amenities desired by the membership. Capital improvements and additions are funded through the reinvestment of proceeds by the Partner Group. In conjunction with the Clubhouse Upgrade and Expansion, we are in the early phases of working with our architect, Prospect Studio, to upgrade the golf course bathrooms, including the introduction of a food kiosk. We are fortunate that demand for membership at the Club continues to grow and it is essential that we remain steadfast to our commitment toward continuous improvement and creating a sense of community and a lifestyle investment that you, the members of Teton Pines, are excited to be a part of. In return, we hope that you will want to refer family, friends, and associates to further strengthen our already great membership. See you at the Club Todd Bretzlaff | General Manager

As Thanksgiving is upon us, we would like to take this moment to thank all our members for joining Teton Pines and being a part of this special Club. Whether you’ve been a member for a few months, a few years, or from the “very beginning” you are an important part of our membership community, and we are glad to have you with us. This season is perhaps my favorite as we get gussied up in the holiday spirit and gather with those we love and care about, spending time together and expressing our appreciation and gratitude for one another. It is our goal to help your holidays sparkle with moments of love, laughter, and happiness. So, as we celebrate the holiday season at Teton Pines and welcome winter in Jackson Hole, we hope you will continue to frequent the Club to connect with friends and family while enjoying some of your favorite traditions and pastimes. A great big thank you to those who have introduced and sponsored their friends and family to the Club as well as to everyone that has provided feedback to the Membership and Executive Committees. Teton Pines maintains a waiting list to join, and we anticipate membership availability late spring/early summer 2024. Please reach out to me with any questions regarding your membership, sponsoring a member, or questions about the Club in general. I look forward to hearing from you.

ON WELLNESS & ACTIVITIES

A Message from the Director of Wellness & Activities, Jeffrey Cisneros This winter, I am excited for the many activities we have planned, especially the return of our Friday Ski Group. I am so thankful for all the members that have shared their feedback, on and off the mountain, to help make this group even better. As a reminder, this is a non competitive group designed for strong skiers. Each week, I will be offering a plan of attack for the day based on ski conditions, grooming patterns and the size of the group. We will continue to operate in a manner that shows respect to one another with healthy conversations and dialogue. One of the most popular events of our winter season, our Snake River Sleigh Ride, is just around the corner. With high participation each year, this is one event that fills up quickly, so I encourage members to sign up when registration opens on Wednesday, November 29th to ensure their spot! s

The Wellness team is also hard at work planning our New Year, New You fitness push. We’ve all heard the statistics that most resolutions fall flat by the first week in February, so this plan is designed to assist members with their New Years Resolutions and goal setting. Our team of fitness professionals are devising a program that will allow members to fully invest in their wellbeing with a combination of mental and physical initiatives. This program is certain to help you bring mind and body together to achieve your goals in the new year. I look forward to closing out 2023 on a high note and the excitement of the new year ahead.
