Christmas Surprises Characters: Father Frost, Snow Maiden, Santa Claus, 5 elves, Snow White, 7 dwarfs, carolers, Norton and his assistant Camilla, students, Angels, Befana, Babo Natale, 2 House Spirits, Presenter (Music sounds, Angels come.) 1st student: Last night I had a lovely dream But strange as it could be For on the hill beside our house Stood a great Christmas tree. 2nd student: Like to visit Santa Claus When Christmas time is near It’s fun to climb up on his lap And whisper in his ear. Presenter: Good morning, children! Christmas is coming. It’s the most exciting time for millions of children all over the world. Do you know that only this year children have a great opportunity to meet Santa Claus, Father Frost, Old Befana and House Spirits from Great Britain, Ukraine, Italy and Norway. They are meeting in our school today. (Music sounds) Carolers: We are a band of carolers We march through frost and snow, But care not for the weather As on our way we go. At every hall or cottage That stands upon our way We stop to give the people Best wishes for the day. We pray a Merry Christmas Made bright by Christmas cheer, With peace, and hope, and gladness And all they may hold dear. And for all those that happen To pass us on our way We have a smile, and wish them A merry Christmas-day. (Norton comes, angry, wearing a dark cloak, black gloves. His assistant is following him.) Norton: A merry Christmas-day. No Merry Christmas, no presents for children, we’ll spoil everything connecting with Christmas this year. Camilla: They are thinking what presents to buy, what dishes to cook but they cannot imagine that they will get nothing. Norton: Now, let’s make a plan. Today Snow White is going to be here with her seven dwarfs. We’ll kidnap them for ransom. Camilla: And Santa Claus will give us all the presents. We’ll have a lot of presents. Unbelievable.
