From the President

In August 2022, I had the great honor to attend the funeral Mass for Fr. Frank Smith and learn more about this special man who was among the first people I met when I joined the MCC family in July 2019. Father and I shared the same hometown area (Philadelphia) and the same college (LaSalle College). We also shared a passion for the importance of Catholic education.

As a pastor, Fr. Frank selflessly served various communities starting diaconate programs, renovating churches, completing affordable housing complexes, and building schools. Always available, he embodied what a true servant leader is.

His life is an inspiration for all of us here at MCC as we work to instill the Franciscan values (generosity, humility, inclusivity, integrity) he lived every day in our students. We are a better school because of Fr. Frank.

The pages that follow give us the opportunity to thank those who so generously support our students and the MCC mission. Every gift makes a difference.

Stewardship exists on many levels, and we are blessed to call so many of you stewards of MCC.

Fr. Frank would approve!

Best wishes,
