ABOUT ME Hello, I'm Pablo Terán!

I’m a 26-year-old architect and creative professional with a passion for sustainable design and cutting-edge technology. As a selftaught innovator, I firmly believe in design as a catalyst for addressing the environmental challenges we face today. I’m an early adopter of emerging software and technologies, always exploring how they can enhance the creative process.

I’m driven by results that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also thoughtfully planned. As Frank Lloyd Wright aptly stated, "The architect must be a prophet... if he can't see at least ten years ahead, don't call him an architect." This forward-thinking philosophy guides my approach to every project I undertake.

While architecture is at the core of my expertise, I thrive on breaking boundaries between design disciplines. My journey has led me to explore furniture design and brand creation, broadening my perspective and sharpening my skills across various fields.

I started my professional career during the second semester of my studies, and I’m committed to making design a lifelong pursuit.

The goal was to design a mixed-use building that optimizes functionality through a well-structured architectural program, integrating a hotel, shopping center, residential units, and parking facilities.

The building's form is carefully shaped in response to prevailing winds at the site, enhancing natural ventilation throughout the complex.

To preserve the area's aquifers, the foundation incorporates an automated parking system, minimizing excavation and environmental impact.

The project utilized advanced tools for design and execution: Rhinoceros was employed for modeling, Revit for architectural documentation, and Enscape for rendering and visualization.

Rest House in Mazamitla, Jalisco This project takes full advantage of the gentle slope of the site to create a spacious and modern cabin. Designed with large terraces, it provides an ideal setting for the client's family gatherings and relaxation.

SO CIA L HOU SING IN M E DE LLIN , COLOM BIA Vertical Densification in High-Risk Areas To address the challenge of informal urban growth in landslide-prone zones, this project proposes vertical densification on stable terrain.

The design features buildings adaptable to the topography, utilizing modular stair systems to harmonize with the landscape.

Each complex houses seven residential units and two commercial spaces, providing a balance between housing and local commerce.

The material palette was thoughtfully selected to reflect and enhance the existing architectural character of the area, contributing to a cohesive and improved urban image.

Conceptual Design and BIM Details in the Imperial System We developed the conceptual design and technical documentation for a stand proposal for Trra at the High Point Interhall.

The challenge was to create a modular pavilion that could be reused while optimizing the use of standard dimension elements. All documentation was delivered in English, following the imperial system (feet and inches), with detailed specifications.

Additionally, we ensured smooth collaboration with suppliers and builders in North Carolina through consistent feedback and coordination throughout the process.

ITO LAB

Plans, Details, BIM Coordination, and Renderings We provided design services, including drafting, renderings, and BIM coordination, for the multidisciplinary tattoo and design studio Ito Lab, located in Colonia Roma, Mexico City.

The main challenge was the lack of digitalized plans, requiring the development of a BIM model starting from a scanned PDF. A site survey was then conducted, followed by close coordination with on-site personnel to ensure accuracy and seamless execution during both the design and construction phases.
