We are delighted to announce that the Tennessee State University Honors College is hosting its 10th Annual University-wide Honors Convocation on March 21, 2023. The Honors Convocation is the annual celebration of distinguished undergraduates from all University disciplines. We will recognize top graduating Honors seniors, outstanding members of honor societies, Dean’s List students, and President’s List students with cumulative grade point averages of 4.0. Over 3,000 students will be honored for their outstanding academic achievement and academic success. They will be celebrated by the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, Faculty, staff, distinguished guests, alumni, parents, and our virtual audience. The Annual Honors Convocation brings together the University and the Nashville community to celebrate undergraduate scholarship. We are delighted to announce that our TSU Honors alumnus, Dr. Eddie Cole, will be our Convocation speaker. Dr. Cole is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and Organizational Change at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is the author of the multi-award-winning book, The Campus Color line: College Presidents and theStruggle for Black Freedom.
