New Ways to Experience Shabbat at Temple Sinai*

Shabbat Body & Soul Walk*K

(Weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the walk will be replaced by a ZOOM Meditation)

The walk will take place at the Nassau County Museum of Art. Please meet our group in the main parking lot at 10:50am.

If the weather does not look like it will cooperate, ZOOM details for the meditation (which will also start at 11:00am) will be provided in the Friday Shabbat email.

*Temple Sinai will always hold space for you to remember your loved one and say Kaddish for them. Please note that Kaddish will be recited during any program marked with *K. .

Exploring Judaism’s strangest rituals and holidays with Rabbi Ilana Schachter

Together, we will unpack some of Judaism’s most bizarre rituals and holidays, from the what to the why, and will explore the ways these ancient rites can bring continued meaning into our lives.
