The Marketing Committee continues to develop marketing materials for Temple Shalom to ensure a consistent look and feel for all advertising pieces. Over the past year we have reviewed existing marketing for effectiveness in regard to community response – Are we effectively communicating our message? What can we do better?

The Committee developed advertising for the L’Shalom program for the broader community. The success of the L’Shalom program prompted an update of the collateral pieces being mailed to our congregants. An updated, informative letter and pledge cards for the 2018-2019 fiscal year have been mailed.

An exciting project has been the redesign of Temple Shalom’s website (launching soon!) The new site will be cleaner and easier to navigate.

Recently, the Marketing Committee has begun working on developing a “master brand” for the Temple Shalom yearly fundraising celebration. The goal is to create a logo for the event that will be both a constant and recognizable symbol as well as being fluid enough to incorporate the theme of each year’s fundraiser.

Looking ahead, the Marketing Committee will be working with Seyla Cohen, Director of the Preschool and Dr. Anna Salomon, Director of Congregational Education, to update the logos for the Preschool and Religious School to incorporate the Temple Shalom brand.

Lastly, the Committee has been formulating a course of action to work with other committees (Membership Engagement, Tikkun Olam, etc) to help get their message out and promote relationships within the Temple Shalom family and the broader community.
