Meet Our New Board Members

Kenny Paysse Bob Browder Michelle Fettig John C. Howe John Kiella Please join us in welcoming our five new additions to the Temple Chamber Board of Directors. Bob Browder has lived in Temple since 1978. He is a graduate of Baylor University and a CPA. After several years with a national accounting firm, Bob began a long career in the commercial construction industry. He served in numerous executive capacities with BFW Construction in Temple until it was acquired by Skanska in 2003. Bob served as Executive Vice President and Management Partner of Skanska with responsibilities for its Texas operations for three and a half years until he retired in 2006. Since retiring from Skanska, Bob has provided consulting services to small and large construction companies in Texas. Additionally, he has been involved in several real estate, banking and manufacturing companies. Currently, he serves on the local and National Advisory Boards of BBVA Compass Bank. Bob has served on many local boards and committees including Temple College Board of Trustees, Chair of the Temple Economic Development Corporation and Chair of the Temple Reinvestment Zone. Bob has been married to Debbie for forty years and they have two adult children, a daughter who lives in Temple and a son who lives in Dallas. They are active members of Temple Bible Church.
Michelle Fettig was born in Kansas. John C. Howe She was raised in Lewis, Kansas and graduated from Lewis High School in 1978. Michelle moved to Temple in 1979. She married Stewart Fettig in 1980. They owned and operated Temple Machine Shop, Inc. (dba TMS Hydraulics) from 1980 until Stewart’s passing in February of 2011. Michelle along with their son Lester continues to run the business today. Michelle is an active member of the Temple Founder Lions Club, currently serving as 2nd Vice President and has served as Executive Secretary. She also currently serves on the Temple Independent School District’s Mentor Board and the Temple Community Clinic Board. Michelle is a member of Altrusa International of Temple. She is an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple where she serves on the church’s Finance Council, the women’s Altar Society, the W.O.M.E.N’s group and the St. Mary’s Catholic School Trust Board. Michelle also serves as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out with Camp Gladiator, running in 5k’s, RV camping and travelling. She has 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
was born in Temple, TX in 1965. The majority of his childhood, he spent in Germany until graduating from high school there in 1985. John returned to Texas where he attended Texas A&M and earned a business degree in 1990. After working for a small start-up IT Company for one year in Germany, John moved to Dallas,TX where he worked in marketing and market research at Gemini Consulting. In 1994, he joined The Thomas Group and worked as a management consultant specializing in Cycle Time and Quality Improvement. After completing a major project in Germany, he decided to return home to Temple, TX in 1999 to join his parents building business, Omega Builders. John has served in various community organizations including Temple Area Builders Association Board and Government Affairs Committee, Central Texas Housing Consortium Board, Reinvestment Zone Board, TISD & BISD Bond Election PAC, as well as Temple Chamber of Commerce Board. John and wife Simone live in Temple with their two sons, Simon and Nick.
