Good evening and welcome to our second league home fixture against the Leeds Knights
It's been a tough start for us with a number of injuries and suspensions for us heading into the new season Going into our first league fixture with only four defence-men isn't ideal and even more frustrating to lose a ‘d-man’ in a game taking us down to three The three guys logged a lot of ice and really battled hard.
Looking at last Sunday's game versus Solway, I don’t think we tilted the ice enough We had moments but didn’t sustain it We missed a number of very good chances or had enough quality on the puck throughout the game
We had twelve forwards on the night and they had nine and I don’t think we outplayed the guys opposite or out skated them like I would have hoped
I thought the fans created a good atmosphere and really got behind the guys which was very noticeable and helped us push hard to find an equaliser but we just couldn’t force it over the line.
This weekend will be another very tough test for us against two teams who have a ton offensive ability

Telford Tigers 2 are preparing for their first double-header weekend of their Laidler league campaign. They start with a home fixture against Nottingham Lions 2 on Saturday, followed by a challenging trip to face the Sheffield Titans on Sunday. Fresh off last weekend's impressive win over the Altrincham Aces, the team is eager to build on their momentum and continue their winning streak Your support will make all the difference!

The club are delighted to announce that defenceman Corey Goodison will be joining the National Telford Tigers roster, as he signs a short-term agreement with the club.
Corey, joined Telford Tigers back in 2015 and earned a reputation as one of the best puck moving defenseman in the league. The 27-year old contributed to winning three National League titles and a National League Cup during his time at the club
Telford Tigers Club Head Coach and General Manager Tom Watkins is pleased to have Corey returning to the Tigers set-up commenting;
“Corey is a guy we know well, he has plenty of qualities and experience and I’m delighted to have him on board. In the short term you never know what might happen in the next few weeks. Given we played with 4D and finished the game with 3D on Sunday we needed to add an extra body to support the team.”
