Good evening and welcome to this weekend’s fixtures.
This week we remembered our good friend and club photographer Steve Brodie as he was laid to rest. As expected it was a huge turnout for someone who touched so many hearts with his friendly nature, welcoming smile or via is photography, a lovely service with plenty of laughs and tears along the way.
It’s been our pleasure to have worked along side such a good person and amazing photographer, who has taken some of the clubs most iconic images, capturing those big moments for us all to enjoy as time moves on.
I hadn’t realised he was also the photographer at three Telford Tigers players weddings, I think I know two of them but struggling to name the third!
I’m sure we all have photographs on our phones that Steve took, I’m sure I have hundreds.
I never managed to sign Paddy Kane or Steve Stamkos as you so regularly requested :-) I am truly grateful for your love and support through difficult times and so pleased we were able to share so many amazing moments that will never be forgotten thanks to you.
Thoughts and prayers go out to Jackie, Ellie and Josh and to all of Steve’s friends and family.
