Active books for active kids

Active books for active kids!

Act out the story with your child and bring it to life! Walk through the jungle, hunt for the bear, and do the animal bop. Reading active books together is a wonderful way to encourage active play while developing a range of important skills for future readers.

Have fun

Act out the story! Why active books?

Young children need lots of physical activity to be healthy and happy. Toddlers 1-2 years need three hours of physical activity each day, including energetic play. Children aged 3-5 years need three hours of physical activity each day, including one hour of energetic play spread over the day. These bursts of energetic play help children’s brains and bodies to grow and stay strong. Active books are a great way to add energetic play to your day.
