The Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) has announced funding for the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) for the 2015 Fiscal Year. In order to be eligible for EQIP funding producers are asked to come into the NRCS office

NEW LONDON CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The regular meeting of the New London City Council was held on December 8, 2014 at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. Those present for the meeting were Mayor Marvin Miller, Aldermen Adkinsson, Ballard, Powell, and White, City Clerk Millie Powell, City Superintendent Don Epperson, City Attorney Joe Brannon, Police Chief Brad Sanders, Fire Chief Jamie Quick, Jan Olson-Meco Engineering, Brian Lathrom, Donald Ford and Shawn Leonard.

Meco Engineering addressed the council offering services and thanks for the past work relationship.

Donald Ford made inquiries into the installation of Fiber Optics on First Street.

Reports-Street and alley: preparing for winter weather. Water and sewer: The sewer inspections have been

received. Fire department: Building addition is in progress. Parade was a success. Police department: Body Cam in Place and Chief Sanders gave a brief demonstration. The black lab running about town was discussed. Zoning: A short discussion on issues for the Ad Hoc Committee to consider was held.

Park: No report.

City Clerk: Rates for the Sewer Only users on Northern Water Line was discussed as well as current deposits for Utilities. Ordinances will be drafted to set the rate for the Northern water line sewer on users at $40 per month and utility deposits for new users will increase to $150. holiday hours were discussed and city Hall will close at noon on December 24 and reopen on December 29. Election filing for Ward I and Ward II will begin at 8:00 a.m. on December 16, 2014 and will close at

5:00 p.m. on January 20, 2015.

City attorney: A 30 day notice has been sent to Josh Smith Property on Main St. Megown property is still in progress.

Mayor: Intersection at Carstarphen and Business 61 were discussed.

Trees taken down at the park still need cleaned up.

Bills to pay were presented and a motion to pay as presented including the addition of the bill submitted by Brian Lathram, was made by Alderman Powell and seconded by Alderman Adkisson. Unanimous.

A motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Ballard and seconded by Alderman Adkisson. Unanimous.

Meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m.

Christmas is getting closer. I can tell because I now have cookies for breakfast and nibble on fudge throughout the day.

I almost have the gifts wrapped, but I ran out of wrapping paper which called for a quick run to the store. Some of the lights in the window have burned out, but I think that can wait till

next year. The cards have been mailed. More cookies have been made – and stashed out of sight.

Church parties and piano recitals have brought joy to all in attendance.

I had such a good time watching the young people perform piano and guitar pieces at nursing homes in Paris. My granddaughter and an-

YOU BETTER WATCH OUT Friday the 13th came on Saturday this month.

It’s sorta nice that you can sorta tiptoe around it; or just sleep through it. Not like when it “blindsides” you on Thursday. Anyhow, that made last Saturday 12-13-14. Numbers won’t line up in that order again in this century. Or, as was discussed in the comic strip “Born Loser,” “This date will never happen again.” The strip comeback (if you missed it) was, “I hate to dampen your enthusiasm, but that’s true of every date.”

(I can think of more than one date for which this constituted a blessing.)

None the less, multiple couples got married at 10:11 a.m. on Saturday.

It’s funny sometimes how

we base our lives on numbers: there’s [blank] shopping days until Christmas (what year). There’s [blank] days left in the NBA/NHL season (like they actually ever end).

There’s [blank] days left in the legislative session (like they ever actually came to work).

In Missouri, legislators are once again visiting the concept of making I-70 a toll road. Imagine the increase in traffic (primarily transport) on the new US 36 thruway. No talk (and you can bet there won’t be any) on making toll ways out of the “I” spinoffs in Saint Louis and Kansas City. You know, if one interstate maintenance nightmare is to be financed by users, why

It’s great to see our young ones learning the true meaning of Christmas by giving to others.

Regular season basketball is over as the schools get ready for Christmas break. No tests or finals to study for as in the “good ol’ days.” I don’t know if I can handle the downtime without running to sports and music activities. However, I have been practicing sitting on

the couch with a plate of cookies and a cup of tea; Christmas music on and basking in the glow of the tree.

There was one last trip to the mall. Just little things, so I strolled through the stores enjoying the frenzy of harried shoppers, smug in the knowledge that I was nearly done. I saved the best for last and entered the huge bookstore full of anticipation. Fortified with a cup of Earl Grey from the in-store coffee bar, I perused the shelves for those last minute gifts.

I’m blessed with a family of readers so it’s a perfect blend of shopping for others and savoring the atmosphere. And I picked up a couple of books for myself. Merry Christmas!

Hackers, it seems, feel that every day should be Cyber Monday. (As opposed to looters, who lean towards the Black Friday motivation.) Talk at a Saint Louis Christmas party I recently attended was that one item virtually “unlooted” was work boots.

There were some interesting approaches to hacking and identify theft.

One person offered the solution that he always kept his cards maxed-out and basically dared someone to pirate them.

Of course, the conversation found its way around to body cams and security systems. “It’s virtually impossible to get lost in the city any-

more,” one gal mused.

“Just call the police and have them check your cell GPS against their security camera system and they can tell you where you are.”

One attendee, who works undercover vice, said that all the guys on the force were anxious for him to start using a body-cam. (As he called it, the ultimate red light camera.) Some adult entertainment producer has probably figured out how to hack into the transmissions.

To handle the Christmas rush, Amazon is employing a whole herd of robots to find merchandise and bring it to a human packer. It seems fascinating that a robot can roam through acres of storage space without a collision and locate a single piece of merchandise, but the credit card people cannot find your last month’s payment. Probably hacked. And why haven’t looters hacked the robots to bring goodies out the back door?

It’s rumored that Sony was filming “Drone Wars” when the hack started.

Who needs cyber when you have the force?

A report was received from the Missouri Department of Conservation with a summary of the Firearms Deer End of Season numbers. The numbers are for the Northeast region of the state from November 15 to November 25.

2014 ShowMe-Select Heifer Sale Submitted by Daniel Mallory, University of Missouri Regional Livestock Specialist Once again the Northeast Missouri Show-MeSelect Replacement heifer sale reached a record sale average of $3,208 at F & T Livestock Auction, Saturday, Dec. 13.

The 19 producers of the 286 heifers were enrolled in the MU educational heifer management program. The heifers were bred to sires with both calving-ease and growth genetics. The sale average was $1,031 higher than the previous year at Palmyra. The top lot sold belonged to Jim and Sharon Schlager and brought $4,050.

Highest average price from a consignor was $3,765 on 23 head from Keithley/Jackson Farms, Frankford, Mo. Other top consignors were Jim and Sharon Schlager, Canton, Mo. $3,756 on 8 head; McCutchan Angus, Monticello, Mo., $3,333 on 3 head; Deer Creek Cattle Co. Clarksville, Mo. $3,331 on 21 head; Prairie View Farms, Monroe City, Mo. $3,323 on 26 head.

The 50 buyers were responsible for over $900,000 worth of bred heifer exchanging hands in less than two hours.

Repeat buyers, 30, purchased 191 head, or 67 percent of the total consignment. Calving surveys returned by these buyers provide important information that is given back to consignors to improve for future years.

The Show-Me-Select heifer development program takes nearly a year to complete. The heifers complete a pre-breeding examination usually 4 to 8 weeks before to breeding. This exam includes a pelvic measurement,

reproductive tract score, and weighed. Heifers may be bred artificially or be exposed to natural service, however; the service sires must meet specific calving ease EPD requirements based on breed. This year 195 head, or 68 percent, of the heifers in the sale were synchronized and bred AI. In this sale, the choice to AI, showed a $71 price advantage over those bred naturally.

All Heifers must be pregnancy tested within 90 days of breeding by a veterinarian to determine expected calving date. The use of ultrasound has helped many of the veterinarians improve their accuracies on calving dates.

During the development period the heifers undergo an extensive health program and are vaccinated at weaning, pre-breeding, and pregnancy examination as well as treated several time for internal and external parasites. Heifers are also screened for blemishes, condition, muscling and structural soundness by MU livestock specialist and USDA graders.

Averages of other Show-Me-Select sales from fall 2014 were Joplin, $2,889 on 521 head; Kingsville, $2,769 on 298 head; and Fruitland, $3,033 on 168 head.

This was the 18th year for the Show-MeSelect heifer sale in Palmyra, Mo. and over 30,283 heifers have been through the program and 5,088 head have been sold. There were several new consignors this year and more are expected to start next year. If you are interested contact your local MU Extension Livestock Specialist.

LOCAL HISTORY A View From the Past

“Yesteryears from the local papers”

This house was the former home of Isaac Ely who settled in Pike County (now Ralls County) around 1818. The house was part stone, log and frame and was destroyed many years ago. Because Issac’s wife, Mary (nee Judy) Ely, was buried in the family cemetery near the house in 1823, it is likely the house dates back to the family’s arriving in Missouri.

From the Perry Enterprise, May 12, 1955 Joint City Meeting – The City Council and Board of Public Works held a joint meeting last Friday night to work out final sewer construction details.

Those present were Aldermen Hensley (acting as chairman in the absence of Mayor Dore), Long, Asquith and Norris. Board of Public Works members, Slyester, Dubray, Riley and Hayden.

Finance Committee representatives were Wm. Nagel, Dr. W.J. Powell, and R.E.Allen. Citizen’s Committee, John Cleaver, Secretary Agnes Long, and Supt. Itschner were present.

After discussion it was decided that one man should be appointed to be responsible to both the contractor and Council to make on-the-spot decisions concerning construction problems that arise from day to day.

Both the Council and Board of Public Works voted unanimously for Superintendent Itschner and he accepted the appointment.

After discussion it was also decided that a pub-

lic relations man would be appointed to continue obtaining information on how many desire sewer service connections put to their property lines while the ditches are open and the present low rate of 425.00 per connection is in effect ($15.00 for those who granted property easement to cross private property). Mr. Nagel has completed over 30 such interviews so far and has found all but one desire immediate service.

The point was brought up, that in order for the city to buy pipe and make connections at the above rates, it will be necessary for everyone to pay promptly or make arrangements for the city to finance their service hook-up in order for cash to be on hand for the next month’s purchases.

The city has made arrangements to finance anyone wishing to have service installed during construction. There will be a 5% per year interest rate on this service and the individual may pay by the month until the principal note is paid.

The meeting adjourned.

Bowling News – The Perry IGA and Sinclair Bowling teams finished the season’s bowling

last Tuesday night. The IGA team, winner of the first half and the Sinclair team, winners of the second half, will meet next Sunday, May 15, at 4:00 p.m. at the Legion Alleys in Hannibal for the 5455 championship of the Ralls-Pike League. The Perry IGA team finished the complete season with the most games won – 62 ½ games won to 45 ½ games lost.

The public is invited to attend and pull for your favorite team.

Miss Kerr Attends Conference – Miss Mary Kerr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Meredith L. Kerr, has returned from the 5th Annual Recreation Laboratory Conference at Druce Lake Camp, Grays Lake, Illinois as a representative of the First Presbyterian Church, Kirksville, is one of the fifty churches selected from the 2250 USA Presbyterian Churches in the United States to participate in a survey sponsored by the National Board of Christian Education, because of its outstanding Christian Education Program.

At the present time, the Rev. Herbert E. Manning, minister, is attending the Evaluation and Planning Conference in Princeton, New Jersey to obtain the

results from this survey.

Attend VFW District Meeting – Mr. and Mrs. Dick Moylan, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hensley, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Asquith, Mrs. O.L. Hoar, and Mrs. Wallace Shuck attended the 17th District V.F.W. meeting Sunday afternoon in Bowling Green.

A School of Instruction and election of officers was held. Dick Moylan of the local Post, was elected Junior Vice-President, and the following from the local Auxiliary were elected: Helen Hensley, Junior Vice-President; Dorothy Asquith, Guard; Lucille Shuck, Trustee; and Mildred Moylan, Patriotic Instructor.

Commencement at Perry High School – Commencement at Perry High School began last Thursday night, May 5, with the annual Junior-Senior banquet, “On the Waterfront,” reminiscent of the Academy Award picture provided the theme for this year’s banquet. The walls of the gymnasium were hung with seines and other decorations, providing a nautical flavor. Escorts across the gangplank were Calvin Berrey and Berrey nd Eugene Moss.

Howell; Welcome, Edna Williams, President of Junior Class; Response, Kay Nolan, President of Senior Class; Ebbtide, Sonja Kerr; Gang Plank Melodies: Mermaid at Play, tap dance by Kay Swank.

December 14 services for the Perry “Christmas” Church began with the choir singing “How Great Our Joy”.

Nancy Kellstrom brought the message. The beautiful Christmas scene at the baptistry had been painted by Kyle Bunge.

There will be caroling on Sunday, December 21 at 6:00pm. The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be at 7:00pm.

Food is being collected at the church. The children will have their program next Sunday. The Olivet Christian Church at Center has issued an invitation to their bingo party next Sunday evening.

The Lighting of the Advent Wreath was per-

formed by Jim and Jeannie Gay. “Joy to the World” was sung in praise. A joyful event was the birth (December 11) of Cade Thomas to Tommy, Lindsay and big sister, Chloe Fierge.

Singing “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear” led to the morning prayer and concerns. Listed are Connie Hopke, Cross Evans, Reva Hurd, Wanda Shoemate and our sympathy to the Andy Green family. “Gloria in Excelsis Deo “ was the response.

Nancy gave the invitation to share the Lord’s Supper. “What Child Is This, Who, Laid to Rest?” was sung. Elders were Greg Harrison and Shir-

ley Levings.

Deacons were Eunice Fisher, John DiMaria, David and Wyatt Lewellen.

Our special music was Cheri Provancha singing “Oh, Holy Night”.

Jeannie Gay told the children about Christmas lights and read “Let Your Light Shine On Us”.

John 1:6-8, 19-28 was read by Jim Gay. “Playing Games” was the sermon title telling about John the Baptist sent from God to witness about the Light that is coming. We can also be powerful witnesses if we follow John’s example with prayer.

“Go, Tell It on the Mountain” was the invitation hymn. Following the benediction, “Away in a Manger” was sung to close the service.

We invite everyone to all of our services and experience the glory of the Christmas Season.

The 3rd Sunday of Advent services began with Patti Grimmett playing “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” followed by Dan and Lea Halleman lighting the Advent Candle of Joy and all singing “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks”, “What Child Is This?”, “Doxology”, “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”, and “O Little Town of Bethlehem”.

The message “The Light Everlasting” was based on scripture from Isaiah 61 as it is easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of Christmas - God has a plan - He will cause righteous and praise to spring forth all the world.

From the cradle to the cross God’s plan was for that tiny baby in a manger and even for those held in bondage (even in the mind) for freedom.

Jesus came to defeat Satan - people get bound up in the evils of the world - overwhelmed by the living darkness. In Jesus we can find hope, peace, love and joy - the power of Christmas. Jesus said “The words of Isiah have

been fulfilled”. Those who have Jesus Christ have the light of the world even in blindness. Grab hold of the power of Christmas as Jesus is the fulfillment of God. Walk in the everlasting life this Christmas season where it began in that little town of Bethlehem so many years ago...

Ralls County R-II Board of Education Meeting

The regular meeting of the Ralls County IR-II Board of Education was called to order at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 11

by President Pete Hilgenbrinck. Board members Ron Evans, Lori Robinson, Jason Liter, Danny Clark, Michael Boling, and Lowell Jackson and Superintendent Deanette Jarman were present.

Natalie Gibson and Marty Hull were in attendance. Delores Woodhurst and Mike Baedeker arrived following supervision duties.

There were no public forum items.

A motion to accept the consent items as presented

passed unanimously.

After viewing the MSBA monthly video report, Danny Clark shared information about possible bills that did not pass in the legislature last year but are expected to be brought up again in the new session.

A motion to approve the audit report as presented passed unanimously.

Marty Hull shared updated information about five bids that were received for a district truck to be used for many purposes, including snow removal at district facilities. Brad Smith, maintenance director, also provided input about the truck bids and

snow removal equipment quotes that were received.

Several of the trucks included in bids would need to be ordered and would not be available until January or February, so the Board discussed reviewing this issue in late spring.

A motion to not accept any of the truck bids passed 7-0.

The district has been invited, along with three other school districts, to join a different health insurance consortium on February 1, 2015. The consortium is called SCEC, South Central Education Consortium. SCEC has United Healthcare as the insurance provider and United Healthcare is now a network provider in Hannibal. Two plans would be offered through the consortium, an HSA and buy-up option. efits employees who have family members on the plan. The PPO option has a lower deductible, 80% coverage after the deductible instead of our current 70%, and a lower out of pocket maximum. The superintendent sent information to staff members regarding the SCEC options. There is a penalty of $250 per insured employee and retiree for leaving our current consortium before the end of the school year. Even with this penalty, the district will save approximately $11,400 through June 30. The superintendent recommends that the Board use this savings to provide an HSA contribution of $150 per eligible employee for the 2014-2015 school year.

There will be no changes in the optional dental, vision, and life insurance plans.Danny Clark made a motion to transfer from MEUHP to SCEC health insurance consortium, contingent upon the other schools also joining. The HSA will be the base plan for the District with the

PPO offered as a buy up plan, and the District will provide a $150 HSA contribution for each eligible employee. The motion to do so passed 7-0.

Pete Hitgenbrinck discussed possible changes to the front entrance that were mentioned at the work session and included in the board packet.

The change would result in fees of approximately $2200 for Architechnics, Inc. to change the plans.

President Hilgenbrinck opened the floor for a motion to change the front entrance at a cost of $2200, There was no motion, so the plans will remain the same.

The construction documents should be finished in December, and the next step is to seek bids in January. A motion to proceed with seeking bids for the new elementary school passed 7-0.

Program evaluations were reviewed for vocational programs: agriculture, business, and Family and Consumer Science.

ported that she is working with QNS to provide the latest update to Microsoft Office in the business lab, as the district already has access to this software update. Linda Stinson recommended that ProStart be added as an extra duty activity. The Board approves extra duty positions in May, so this would need to be addressed in March or April.

Board of Education Candidate Filing Dates have been set for December 16 to January 20. Also reviewed were the Enrollment Report, Attendance Report, Food Service Report and Transportation Report.

During administrative updates, the superintendent shared information on possible geothermal and lighting efficiency rebates for the new building.

The board moveed into closed session to discuss personnel issues in accordance with Section 610.021 (3) RSMo. During closed session, a review of tenured teachers was conducted.

The choir rendered two musical selections, Oh Lord I Want You To Help Me, under the direction of Sister Marsha Mayfield. Elder Allison offered the offertory scripture and prayer and the doxology was sung.

Joys and concerns were heard, followed by pastoral prayer.

Rev. M. Faye Vaughn offered the Word, scripture text that was from Luke 1:39-56, Mary visits Elizabeth. The morning message was “Poor Mary.”

The message was followed by hymn of invitation, communion hymn, and closing hymn, God Has Smiled on Me and benediction.

New London First Christian Church Pastor Tom Day

Our worship service for Sunday December 14 began with the choir singing “This is the Day,”accompanied by Marilyn Lucas. Pastor Tom gave the welcome and upcoming events. Bible study continues each Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. On December 18, Pastor Tom will be volunteer chaplain at HRH. Next Sunday, December 21, our Christmas program will be held during the worship service. Christmas Eve candlelight communion service will be held at 7p.m. on December 24. Pastor Tom then led the responsive call to worship. Our hymn of praise, “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”, was followed by the invocation and Lord’s prayer in unison.

Roger & Rhonda Stout lit the third advent candle and our worship hymn was “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee.” Those who are in need of prayer include Bob Whitley, Clyde Craven, Ruthie Musgrove, Dick Whitley, Fern Arnold, Betty Ann Schoeneman, Linda Snell, all of our service men and women and those who were unable to worship with us today. On a joyous note, we had a number in the congregation who have celebrated or are going to celebrate birthdays in the near future and Rhonda Stout thanked all those who donated towards the Adopt-a-Family project.

In preparation for the Lord’s supper, Pastor Tom gave the meditation and words of institution and the communion hymn “Emmanuel, Emmanuel”, followed. Those serving at the table today were Dave Jarman, Carrie Talley, Jim Quinlin & Eunie Whitaker. Mary Frances Quinlin offered the elder’s prayer. After receiving of the tithes & offerings, the prayer of dedication was offered by Pastor Tom. He chose scripture from Matthew 2:1-6 and his message was “The Praise of the Wise.” When the wiseman heard about the baby’s birth, they rushed to see him and knelt down to worship him. They came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

So, what gifts can you bring to Jesus this year? would be very pleased if we would sing praises to him, be in church each Sunday, eat with him at the table and open our bible to learn more about him.

After the hymn of invitation “Silent Night”, Pastor Tom gave the benediction to close the service.

Charles Birch Livers

Services for Charles Birch Livers, 74, of Vandalia, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at Vandalia Baptist Church Family Life Center with Larry Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.

Mr. Livers passed away at 1:32 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

He was born July 30, 1940 in Hannibal, the son of Claiborne and Fannie Sue Inlow Livers.

He was married to Linda Phillips on February 8, 1963 in Vandalia and she survives.

Other survivors include; two daughters and their spouses,Julie and William Peterson of New London, and Gayle and Matthew Jones of Vandalia; three grandchildren, Cameron, Lindsay, and Lexie Jones of Vandalia; seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Birdie Ellen Hays, and two nieces, Carol Elaine and Sarah Jane Hays.

Mr. Livers was a lifetime area resident and a 1959 gradu-

ate of Van-Far High School. He worked as a laborer at Harbison Walker Refractories for 39 years and retired August 1, 2002.

He also worked for Hall and Jerman, Archie and Jr. Holt, and Don’s Mobile. He was a member of Hays Creek Christian Church. He enjoyed four wheeling, horseback riding and listening to country music.

Pallbearers will be Pete Hays, Rodney Spires, Bud Teague, Randy Lewis, Dale Stewart, and Raymond Kirtlink.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie and Kathy Hoover, Bobbie and Diane Waters, Robert and Dottie Morris, Gerald Wallace, Lana Terry, and his coffee crew.

People with small places have big hearts and miss giving to others, says Tammy Roberts, University of Missouri Extension nutrition specialist.

“Think about giving them something they can share with visitors and nursing home staff,” she says.

Some specialty food companies offer a monthly delivery of seasonal fruits and goodies. This gives the resident something to anticipate and share all year long. Or take wrapped snacks such as peanut butter and crackers or granola bars to offer to others. Check with nursing staff about diet restrictions first.

While homemade food is always a favorite choice, there are plenty of other inexpensive gift ideas that will be appreciated, Roberts says.

Crossword puzzle or word-search books help seniors keep brain cells active and fill time. “Be sure to purchase the large-print books to make it easier on the soon-tobe word sleuth,” Roberts

The Lady Tigers played three rounds in Monroe City’s 90th Annual Basketball Tournament held December 8-13.

On Monday, December 8, Mark Twain faced the Marceline Lady Tigers in first round play.

Mark Twain lost a close 35-41 game.

Trailing 3-8 in the first quarter Mark Twain pulled ahead in the second quarter to add 18 points on the board keeping Marceline to only 8 points. Marceline led the scoring in the third quarter but Mark Twain still held a 31-28 lead.

It was the fourth quarter that was Mark Twain’s undoing. Marceline added 13 points to only 4 points for Mark Twain.

McKenzie Lathrom had 12 points including two 3-pointers.

Kaelee Ogle also added 12 points.

Chloe Majors put up 6 points.

On November 30 report of 4 to 5 people fighting in the street at 6th and Church. 1 w/m taken into custody, 1 fled scene and is being sought by law enforcement.

Mark Twain Junior High Held Its National Basketball Tournament

The MT Jr. High girls played Wellsville-Middletown in the first round of the Mark Twain Junior High Basketball Tournament. Kenzie Ogle led all scorers with 12 points and Paige Eddington rounded out the scoring with 8 points (2 for 3 from the free throw line). Final score was 20-27, Wellsville.

In the second round, MT girls played Louisiana. Kenzie Ogle had 13

points, Alexis Ruba had 4 points, and Aimee Ferry and Paige Eddington had 2 points each. Final score was 21-36, Louisiana.

In the final round of play, MT junior high girls played the Paris Coyotes.

Kenzie Ogle had 10 points, Hannah Smith (3-pointer) and Paige Eddington each had 3 points, and Aimee Ferry and Alexis Ruba finished out the scoring with one point each. Final score, 18-45, Paris.
