The Annual Mark Twain Chorale, now in its 54th year will present its Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m. at the Roland Fine Arts Center/Parker Theatre on the HLGU Campus, 2800 Palmyra Road, Hannibal Mo. Under the direction of Lori Scott and accompanied by Bonnie Campbell, the Mark Twain Chorale Christmas Concert will include a variety of both secular and sacred music of the season. Joining the Chorale this year will be the Pike Pipers-Recorder Ensemble. These ladies play a wide variety of musical genres, but their focus is on Classical, the type of music composed for a four-voice consort. Those melodies are generally delicate, a pleasure to play and hear and will add a delightful new element to the evening.Admission is free, but a free will donation will be taken. Take some time this season and celebrate the joy, peace, hope and love that are the promise of Christmas For information contact Lori Scott at lscottmusiclover@gmail.com or visit our Facebook page at facebook.com/ MarkTwainChorale.
