Necedah woman charged with child abuse BY EVA MARIE WOYWOD On March 25, 2014, the Juneau County District Attorney's office filed a felony charge of physical abuse of a child against 20 year old Shae Clark of Necedah. If convicted of this charge Clark would be a repeat offender. According to the criminal complaint, in early March Juneau County Deputy Todd Green responded to a call from the Necedah Elementary School for a possible child abuse complaint. Upon arrival the deputy met with a representative from Juneau County Protective Services who advised him that she had met with the school and the mother of the seven year old victim. The deputy then met with the young child who is said to have stated that Clark, a family member, smacked him/her in the face approximately six to seven times after a session of play wrestling where the child accidentally kicked her in the face. The child stated that he/she asked Clark to stop hitting. The grandmother, according to the child, also attempted to intervene in asking Clark to stop hitting the child. In speaking with the mother, the deputy learned that the child had been staying with the grandmother when the incident happened. The deputy spoke to the grandmother who stated that Clark had smacked the child three times after the wrestling incident. The deputy spoke with Clark who stated that the child kicked her on purpose after the wrestling incident and while she was speaking to someone else. Clark claims she hit the child only once. Clark has a Monroe County 2013 conviction of domestic abuse battery. She is scheduled for an initial appearance on April 23, 2014 before Judge Paul Curran.

Tetting stated that he never acted as an enforcer for Turner's operation but rather saw himself as an equal with his own illegal drug business. The clothing he changed into came, he said, from the back seat of the car Tetting was driving. Tetting said he always had some clothing in the car he was driving as he alternated between a room he had in Tomah and staying with a relative in La Crosse. However, he stated that Turner changed out of his clothing while sitting in the passenger seat of the car, and while the gun was on his lap. Tetting stated that he thought Turner had sweat pants under his jeans and that he just took off the jeans. Right after the murders, law enforcement conducted five interviews with Tetting where he denied any involvement in the murders. In court on Monday, Tetting stated that he gave false statements in 2007 because he was fearful for his life. Tetting stated that the night of the murders, Turner had threatened him and his family if he told anyone what had happened. That threat to Tetting and his family, he said, he felt Turner would carry out, especially considering what he saw the night of the murders. See TETTING, page 5
