Dade County Route J CLOSED West of Collins on January 29
Where: Dade County Route J CLOSED between Route W and SE 1250 Road south of Route 54 west of Collins When: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 What: Route J CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to replace a deteriorating drain pipe underneath the road Traffic Impacts: Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the closing. Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closing. However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zone. Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.

Greenfield Wildcats Courtwarming will be held Friday, February 6, 2015. The Wildcats will play host to the Golden City Eagles with games beginning at 5 p.m. by the JV boys, followed by the Varsity boys. the Highlighting evening will be the crowning of the 2015 Courtwarming Queen. The Courtwarming ceremony will be held between games. The Courtwarming candidates are: Princesses: Victoria
Kirsch (junior), Madison Crouch (freshman), and Cynthia Kulwichian (sophomore). Senior queen hopefuls: Vivian Lee, Bayley Shirk, Kaleigh Cooper, and Olivia Olson. A dance will be held after the games in the junior high cafeteria until 11:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

The Dadeville Bearcats are gearing up for their basketball homecoming Friday evening, February 6, 2015, hosting the Humansville Tigers. The Bearcats and Tigers game will begin at 5:30 p.m. with half game played by JV boys, followed by the Varsity boys game. The crowning of the 2015 Homecoming Queen will take place after the varsity game. The girls basketball game will follow the coronation. The Bearcats theme for the evening is Patriotic. The homecoming candidates are: Senior class: Jaycee Herd, daughter of Becky Stiles and Jeff Herd; and Ben Keathley, son of Matthew and Sonja

The Everton Tigers Basketball Homecoming will be held Friday night, February 6, 2015. The Tigers will be hosting Bradleville. The games will begin at 5 p.m. with the JV boys, followed by the Varsity girls and wrapping up the Varsity boys. Highlighting the evening will be the crowning of the 2015 Basketball Homecoming Queen after the boys game. The 2015 queen candidates are: Kylee Wilson, Tayler Limpus, Kala Svendsen, and Chasity Huff. The theme for the Tigers is Superhero. Spirit days are all week prior to the homecoming game. A homecoming dance will be held in the high school gymnasium after the coronation.
