Obituary Frances Faye Thigpen Hargrove Frances Faye Thigpen Hargrove, 90, went to her heavenly home Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was born on October 23, 1923, in Point DeLuce, AR. She was the second of three daughters born to Ezra Green Thigpen and Effie Irene Jowers Thigpen. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, until her health did not allow her to attend as much as she wanted. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam Hargrove Sr.; son, Ezra Carlton Hargrove; grandson, Kyle Hargrove; great granddaughter Reagan Hargrove; and two sisters Carmen Adams and Retha Simpson Russell. Survivors included her sons and their wives, Adam Hargrove, Jr. and Sherry, Steven Hargrove and Debbie, and Mark and Joyce
Hargrove all of DeWitt; and four grandchildren Brian Hargrove, Bradley Hargrove (Amanda), Heidi Craig (Jim), and Kara Puryear (Crews); and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services was held at 10:00 a.m. October 7 at Essex Funeral Home with burial following in DeWitt Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hebron Missionary Baptist Church Mission Fund, P.O. Box 262, DeWitt, AR 72042.
Nancy Lorene Hunt
Mrs. Nancy Lorene Hunt, 65, of Wynne, passed away early Sunday, September 28, 2014, at her home in Wynne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hunt; parents, Billy and Gertie Lyles; Otto Hudson, daughter, Tammy Renee Freeman, three brothers, and two sisters. Nancy was born in Ethel, Arkansas, on May 30, 1949. She was a housewife and a Baptist. Survivors are her daughters, Patricia DeAnn Quinley and husband Mike of Munford, Tennessee; Anna Teresa Mitchell and husband Kyle of Wynne; Nancy Jo Stephens and husband Larry of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas; son, Justin Marvin Hunt and wife Annissa
Courtney W. London Courtney W. London, 32, of Dewitt died Sunday September 28, 2014 in Dewitt. Born April 4, 1982 in Stuttgart, Arkansas he was the son of the late Edward Lewis London and Ora Joyner London of Dewitt, Arkansas. Courtney accepted Christ as his savior May 12, 2013. Courtney was educated in the DeWitt Public School and received his high school Diploma at Mc Clellen High School in Pulaski County. Courtney loved to play Basketball and he was an avid Hunter. Courtney was employed by the Greenway Company in DeWitt, formerly John Deere of DeWitt. Courtney is survived by his Mother; Ora Joyner London of DeWitt, (2) Brothers; Kieth (Shelia) Joyner of Denver, CO. and Edward Lewis (Kiana) Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, (2) Sisters; Twana Nuniss and Sharonica (Bobby) London Green both of Little Rock, Arkansas, His Grand Mother; Cora Joyner of Dewitt, Merrick Swinton and many Special Friends, and a host of
Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Family and Friends to cherish his memory. Funeral service was Saturday October 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dewitt High School Gymnasium in Dewitt with Rev. Michael Reams officiating. Burial was in Butler Cemetery in Ethel by Mc Kinzie Funeral Home of Dewitt.
Obituary Helen Frances Jacobs Bell Helen Frances Jacobs Bell, age 88, was born in Stuttgart, AR on August 30, 1926 to Arthur Moorehead Jacobs and Virginia Frances Purdy Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Arthur (Bud) Jacobs, Jr. and two sisters Lillian Melton and Betty Lou Dodson and one grandson, Jonathan Harold Reid Bell. Survivors are her husband of 67 years, Claude Bell of Gillett, two sons, Eddie Bell (Nancy) of Farmington, Keith Bell of Gould and daughter Shirley Thrash of Farmington, grandson, Shawn Bell of Farmington, five granddaughters, Andrea Thrash of Farmington, Hayley Brewer of Fayetteville, Jami Bell of England, Amber Bell and Ashley Bell of
Tichnor. She was a member of Dark Corner Christian Church and worked at the ammunition factory in Jacksonville during World War II. Funeral services was held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 2nd, at Essex Funeral Home Chapel, DeWitt, with burial at DeWitt Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9:00 to 10:00 before the service at the funeral home.

Visitation was held Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at Kernodle Funeral Home, Friday October 3rd with burial in Halk Cemetery.
Doris Dupuy Schwartz Doris Dupuy Schwartz, 73 of Gillett, passed away on October 2, 2014. She was born on October 4, 1940 to Alcide and Bernice Dupuy. She attended and graduated from Gillett High School. She moved to Georgia in 1958 and was employed as Executive Secretary to the President of a privately owned family business. She was married in January 1960 to Ray Schwartz. They lived on St. Simons Island for seven years before relocating to Fort Lauderdale Florida where they live for many years. She attended AIB classes while employed in the banking industry as a Human Resources officer, and classes at Barry College in Miami. After 20 years in banking she left to work at Franklin Templeton Investments in the Institutional Marketing Department. She retired on January 3, 2003. She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist in Fort Lauderdale.

Her parents and husband, Ray Schwartz, brothers, James and Ray Dupuy, predeceased her. Her survivors are nephews, Walter Dupuy and Bill Ogle and their families, nieces Peggy James and Tandi Link and their families. Memorial service will be held at a later date for both Ray and Doris Schwartz. In memory of Doris memorials may be made to Gillett Cemetery Association or Gillett United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas.
