Obituary Jimmy Thomas Nutt
Jimmy Thomas Nutt, 74, of Dewitt died October 10, 2014 at Baptist Health Stuttgart. Born April 10, 1940 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas he was the son of the late Ben Thomas Nutt and Ellene Vent Nutt. Jimmy loved hunting, fishing, and worked as a farm hand for many years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; (1) Son; Roger Dale Nutt and (1) Sister; Martha Jean. Jimmy is survived by his wife; Sheila Nutt of Dewitt, (2) Son; John Wesley (Stacy) Nutt and Billy Paul Nutt both of Dewitt, (2) Daughters; Crystal (John David) Releford of Dumas, and Tonya (Courtney) Isom of Dewitt, (6) Grandchildren; John How-
ard (Samantha) Nutt, Bridgitt Nutt, Madelyn (Caleb) Reeves, Rylei Isom, Chance Watkins, Jayden Isom and Preslee Hudson, (2) Great Grandchildren; Tyler Joe Starks and Austin Starks, (1) Brother; Billy C. (Cassie) Nutt of Dewitt, and (2) Sisters; JoAnn James and Molly Jean (Donnie) Hageman and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memory.

Harley Porter Cummings Harley Porter Cummings of Carlisle passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his home. He was born December 2, 1942 in St. Charles to the late Harley Cummings and Margaret McCann Cummings. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Athel Cummings. He was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 51 years. His life’s work was with Heritage Agriculture of Carlisle selling farm equipment for 43 years and a total of 49 years with Case I H Dealerships. He was a member of the Lions Club and was chosen Lion of the Year in 1988. He also was a member of the American Legion, served in the National Guard and was a Little League Baseball coach. He loved his family and friends and was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; daughter: Mela-
nie Cummings Horton (Jodie); son: Tony Cummings; grandsons: Porter Parr and Blake Horton; granddaughter: Suzanna Horton all of Carlisle. He is also survived by four sisters: Jeanie Romans, Mandy Puttoff, Dolores Cummings and Faye Horton who were also by his side throughout his last journey, and a great family of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, October 15th, at Essex Funeral Home Chapel, DeWitt, with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lee Charles Burse Jr.
Lee Charles Burse Jr. 58 of Little Rock, formerly of Dewitt, Arkansas died October 7, 2014 at the Baptist Health Care Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born August 10, 1956 in Dewitt he was the son of the late Lee Charles Burse Sr. and Eliza Brown Burse. Lee accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Oscar Coleman Sr. Lee was united in marriage to Isabell Cobin and to this union six children was born. Lee was educated in the Dewitt Public School System. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and watching westerns. Lee was employed for over 30 years with the city of Little Rock. Lee loved his family and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his Father; Lee Charles Burse Sr. and his Mother; Eliza Burse, (3) Sister and (1) Brother. Funeral service will be Saturday October 18, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at Full Gospel Apostolic Church in Dewitt with Rev. Ken Daniels officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Burial will be in the Morning Glory Cemetery by Mc Kinzie Funeral Home Of Dewitt.
