Crockett’s Bluff, Ethel, & St. Charles News GREETINGS: Hi folks! Monday morning coming round again. CHILDERS UPDATE: I promised last week that I would give an update on Louise Childers of DeWitt, who is a patient in a Little Rock Hospital. I understand that she is somewhat better at this time. She is off life-support machines now, and let’s all keep her and her entire family in our prayers. Prayers, we all know, are the very best medicine for everybody, and PRAYER IS FREE! SURPRISE VISITOR: Jay and I had a surprise visitor Friday (10th). When my son, Russell Horton of Louisville, KY came and spent the weekend with us and his brother Ricky, I did not know which way to go, run screaming or scream running!!! This is hard on heart patients, isn’t it? But after all we had a good visit.

He also visited with his Dad, Floyd Horton, of Ethel. Russell left this Monday (13th) morning returning to Louisville, (without me, of course). CUMMINGS: Harley Cumming, Jr. of Carlisle, formally of DeWitt, went to meet his Heavenly Father, on Sunday, (12th). Due to weather, I cannot find out details about his services. Sorry. Please, everyone, keep Harley’s family and friends in your prayers!
