Tenth Judicial Circuit Receives Awards BREAKFAST & PHOTO WITH SANTA

The Frankford First Christian Church will be hosting a “Breakfast with Santa” on December 6, 2014 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Children of all ages, including the young at heart are welcome to come and have their picture taken with Santa for $5.00, or the picture is free with the purchase of a meal. We will be serving pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy. An adult meal is $5.00, a child’s meal is $2.00, children 1 and under are free. We do ask that children are accompanied by a n adult.

On Saturday, December 6, New London Park Days is hosting the 4th Annual Holiday Shopping Open House at New London Elementary from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and have your picture taken with Santa.

Ralls County Schools will hold their Winterfest music programs: MTJH Winterfest 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5; NL Elementary Winterfest K-grade 2 at 6:30 p.m. and grades 3-5 at 7:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8; MTHS Winterfest at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15; and Center Elementary Winterfest K-grade 2 at 6:30 p.m. and grades 3-5 at 7:15 p.m.

On November 26, 2014, after celebrating with a luncheon, Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd presented the Tenth Judicial Circuit, which includes Ralls, Marion, and Monroe Counties, with the O’Toole and Permanency awards from the Missouri Supreme Court for the third year in a row at the Ralls County Courthouse in New London. The awards were presented to the Circuit for efficiently managing and processing cases during 2013. The awards were presented by Missouri Supreme Court Judge Richard Teitelman and Missouri State Court Administrator Gary Waint. Judge Teitelman presented awards to Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd, Judge

David Mobley, Judge Michael P. Wilson, Judge John J. Jackson, the Tenth Circuit Juvenile Office, and Circuit Clerks Gina Jameson, Carolyn Conners, Valerie Munzlinger, and Heather Wheeler. Representatives of the Children’s Division, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the Tenth Circuit Bar Association also participated in the presentation. Only four circuits throughout the state met all ten of the time standards measured by the Missouri Supreme Court for timely and efficient case management in fiscal year 2013. The Circuit also ranked first in the state for timely disposition of felony criminal cases and domestic relations cases. This is the third

year in a row that the Tenth Circuit received both awards, only two circuits in the state have met all ten time standards for achievement for the past three consecutive years. Judge Shepherd said, “The awards are the result of cooperation and diligence by Tenth Circuit Court personnel and members of the Tenth Circuit Bar Association, and I am very grateful for their hard work and continuous effort.”
