TROOPER WILLIAM KOCH ASSIGNED TO TROOP B

Congressman Sam Graves (R-Tarkio) visited Macon on Wednesday, August 15th to help local Republicans celebrate the grand opening of their headquarters. The 2012 Macon County Republican headquarters will be at 1607 Gary Street in Macon, located in the former “First Impressions” salon just south of the Red Cross Pharmacy off of Briggs Drive. TROOPER KOCH

Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the following transfer to Troop B, effective August 12, 2012. Effective August 12, 2012, Trooper William Koch transferred from Troop F, Gasconade and Osage counties, to Troop B, Zone 9, Marion and Ralls counties, where he will serve as a marine operations trooper. Trooper Koch is a native of Quincy, Illinois, and graduated from Quincy Senior High School. He holds an associate’s degree in law enforcement from John Wood Community College in Quincy, Illinois. Koch was appointed to the Patrol on May 29, 2005, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop B, Zone 7, Knox and Lewis counties. On August 1, 2008, he transferred to Troop F, Zone 6, Morgan & Moniteau counties, and on June 1, 2011, he was assigned to Zone 12, Gasconade and Osage counties. He is married to Laura (Keck) Koch.

MACON RUNNERS PARTICIPATED IN “RUN WITH ALL YOUR HART” On Saturday, August 11th, 3,344 total registrants including over 500 Virtual Runners (and walkers/hikers) from every US state and 6 foreign countries participated in the first annual “Run with All Your Hart” 4 mile run/ walk. The final numbers are not in, but they know that they’ll donate at least $70,000 to establish the foundation of the Sarah Roberts Hart Fund. 5 Ma-
