ANNUAL BULLOCK REUNION

The annual Bullock Reunion will be Saturday, July 26 at Bullock Hunting Lodge. The day will begin around 11:00 and will include a potluck meal followed by the fun and lively auction. Everyone is encouraged to bring items to be auctioned and enjoy the fun. The proceeds from the auction will be used for the ground upkeep at the VanCamp Cemetery.

ROMANIA SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT RESCHEDULED

DeWitt School Board Meeting The Board approved ASBA policies, changes to the 2014-2015 handbooks, and Sub-teach Renewal.

Sharon Duncan also gave an update on lunchroom funds, which were up the 2014 school year.

Bids for both milk and tire and oil were discussed, with the Board’s approval of staying with their current suppliers, Hiland (milk) and local provider, Tips Tops (tire and oil). Insurance renewals for vehicle and facilities were discussed and approved by the Board to renew with their current carriers.

DeWitt School District recently received the Refuge Grant, which was up from last year at $97,000.00. The Board plans to transfer $150,000.00 of that money to the building fund.

Arkansas Post Museum reschedules Prairie Pioneers Day Camp Arkansas Post Museum invites you to participate in Prairie Pioneers Day Camp. This fun-filled, historically educational summer day camp is for kids grades K-5. Dates for the camp are August 4th-8th. Camp starts at 9 am and ends at 12 pm. Campers get to experience life just like Laura did in the Little House on the Prairie books! This camp has lots of fun, exciting, hands-on activities, story time, crafts and refreshments. Your child will have plenty to bring home and make memories to last a lifetime.

family members, which a table was provided.

George Arthur “G.A.” Johnson, Jr. age 63, of Reydell died Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was born March 7, 1951 in DeWitt to George Arthur and Mary Frances Burnett Johnson who preceded him in death.

He was retired from the Corp of Engineers, was manager of Circle S Hunting Club, had a mowing service and served in the National Guard. He was a member of Reydell Baptist Church whose members supported him throughout his many years fight against cancer.

Survivors include his wife, Jann Knight Johnson; daughter, Brooke Fountain (Thad) of Rockwall, Texas, step-son, Jonathan Tullis (Libby) of Leawood, Kansas; sisters: Dorothy Luebke and Reba Currie of DeWitt, Uncle Charles Burnett off DeWitt; grandchildren: Samuel and Caroline along with nieces and nephews.

Graveside service was held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 22nd at Bayou Meto Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt. Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

James “Jim” Clyde Merritt, 68, of Bainbridge, GA, formerly of DeWitt, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Merritt was born June 24, 1946 in Little Rock, AR, the son of William Clyde Merritt and Eunice Wheatley Merritt. Before moving to Bainbridge, he was a manager with Bunge Corporation in Selma, AL. In Bainbridge, Jim worked as an Extrusion Maintenance Supervisor with Amoco Fabrics for several years and retired as an advertising sales representative with The Post Searchlight. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a charter member of the Bainbridge Bass Club, the Walter C. Dancer Lodge #115 F. & A.M., and he was a Shriner. Mr. Merritt will be remembered for many things, his heart of gold, and how he would go out of his way to help others will remain at the top of the list. He was an avid outdoors man, he loved to hunt, but his passion was fishing either with friends and family or competitively in local bass tournaments.

Jim was proud of his heritage, especially the fact that he was a direct descendant of Davy Crockett.

Survivors include his wife and best friend of 41 years, Sarah Lee Merritt of Bainbridge, GA; his son, William Lee Merritt and his wife, Joanna, of Bainbridge, GA; his brother, Michael Wheatley Merritt and his wife, Diana, of Dewitt, AR; and his step- grandchildren, Hunter, and Ashton.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Active pallbearers were Charles Lashley, Brian Key, Troy Arthur, Tyler Hutchins, Gordon Hutchins, Wesley Powell, and Cary Dollar.

The family received friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Kaye Endsley Whiting, 66, of Tichnor departed this life Sunday, July 20th, after a 14 year battle with cancer.

She was born February 11, 1948, to the late Icia and Polly Endsley of Holly Grove. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Terry Whiting; two sons: Slade and Drew (and wife Melissa) all of Tichnor. She was known as “Gan Gan” to two special girls, MaKayla and Sophia. She is also survived by one brother, Rickey Endsley (and wife Emalie) of Lubbock, Texas. She is survived by several nephews and one niece.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and a very special “Gan Gan”. She was an inspiration because of her dedication and compassion. She was an active member of Gillett United Methodist Church and requests memorials in lieu of flowers be sent to Gillett United Methodist Church Kitchen and Fellowship Building Fund.

Funeral services were held 2:00 Tuesday, July 22nd at Gillett United Methodist Church with burial at Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt. Visitation was held from 12:30 to 1:30 at the church before the service.

GILLETT EHC HOLDS JULY POTLUCK MEETING AT THE RIVER The Gillett Extension Homemakers Club held its July meeting on Tuesday, July 15, at Margie Hackney’s river home south of Gillett with eight members and four guests present.

After Debbie Connelly asked the blessing for the food, the members and guests enjoyed the delicious potluck dishes furnished by those attending. All present liked watching the river flowing, the boats going past, and the gorgeous views.

Lizzie Bronson, Miss Arkansas County Rice, attended and brought her winning dish, Chicken Alfredo and Rice Casserole. She made a brief presentation and passed out recipe cards. All appreciated her coming and sharing her specialty.

Margie Hackney, club president, called the meeting to order. Dorothy Connelly read the thought for the month: “Never underestimate your importance at the bottom of the totem pole. Without the bottom, the top would fall over,” by John Millie.

Anita Trimble, Citizenship-International-Community Outreach Leader, presented the program on Fair Projects/Fair Judging. This program gave information about entries in the fair, the judging for the entries, and dates for entering and pickup, as well as other information. Gillett EHC has a member interested in preparing a booth.

Dorothy Connelly, secretary, led roll call with “Name a favorite or least favorite fair food.” The few who said they went to the fair and ate food while there liked the cotton candy and funnel cakes.

Becki Weinrich read the helpful hint: When hand sewing with a double thread, knot the threads separately and they will not tangle.

Member’s present but not listed above included Thelma Connelly, Debbie Daniels, Arlene Ferguson, and Jeannie Fletcher. In addition to special guest Lizzie Bronson, other guests included Debbie Connelly, Billie Jean Hickman, and Nola Weinrich.

The August meeting will be on Tuesday, August 19, at The Paddy in Gillett with Dorothy Connelly as hostess.

Obituary Mabel Davis Mabel Ola Bullock Davis, 89, of Stuttgart passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Baptist HealthStuttgart.

Mabel was born July 29, 1924, in DeWitt to Elmer and Lavada Neilson Bullock. She was a member of Grand Prairie Church in Stuttgart.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Watson Davis; one daughter, Bonnie McKennon; one sons-in-law, Clyde McKennon Sr.; one son, Carl Lee Lester; two grandsons, Rickey Younger and Jerry B. Younger; two granddaughters, Tanya Gardner and Tammy Inman; one sister, Rosa Faye Robinson; three brothers, Chester, Vernon and Clarence Bullock; and one daughter-in-law, Sharon Lester.

Survivors are three daughters, Robin Lavell Inman (Everett), Beverly Ideker (Ray) and Debra Maier, all of Stuttgart; one stepson, Bill Davis of Clarendon; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services, officiated by Bro. Thomas Bormann, were 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Vancamp/ Bullock Cemetery.

Visitation was 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home.

After forty-two years, Glynda James, LPN, has decided to retire from DeWitt Nursing Home. Glynda began her career at DeWitt Nursing Home on July 15, 1972. She has been praised by many through the years for her dedication to all her patients, many times sitting with patients loved ones as they grieved their losses. Glynda has been active through the years

in the nursing home fundraisers, many times cooking and donating items that were needed.

A reception was held for Glynda Tuesday, July 15th at the DeWitt Nursing Home with lots of friends and co-workers in attendance honoring her service through the years. Glynda will be greatly missed by patients, co-workers, and the community.

DeWitt School District Up for Grant The Monsanto Fund has announced the finalists for this year’s America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grants. From January through March, farmers across the country nominated their local public school districts for the grants. Once nominated, these districts were eligible to submit completed grant applications in April.

Over the past month, a panel of educators from ineligible counties reviewed all of the grant applications.

The strongest submissions were selected as finalists and will be sent to the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Advisory Council for final review. Composed of farmer-leaders from across the U.S. with a vested interest in both agriculture and education, the Advisory Council will select the winning school districts.

This local school district is in the running for a grant of up to $25,000: • DeWitt School District The winning grant recipients will be announced in early August.

Last year, Grow Rural Education invested $35,000 in

public school districts across Arkansas to improve math and science curriculum. Since 2012, Arkansas school districts have received $110,000 through the program.

Grow Rural Education grants have allowed rural schools to invest in the enhancement of student learning in math and science. Past grant recipients used funding for projects such as technology and scientific lab equipment upgrades, greenhouses and outdoor classroom learning environments, teacher and curriculum development and other math and science related initiatives.

Each winner will represent the Arkansas County Fair during the week of September 8-13, 2014. Becca Rasco Cope, 1979 Miss Arkansas County will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies. Fiddler player, Clancey Ferguson will provide live entertainment.

There are five age groups: Princess Bluebonnet, ages 4-6; Little Miss Arkansas County, ages 7-9; and Petite Miss Arkansas County, ages 10-12. Each will compete in a pageant or Sunday dress. Jr. Miss Arkansas County, ages 13-16 will compete in private interview, sportswear, and evening gown. Sportswear may represent a favorite athletic-type sport, from cheerlead-

ing to dance costume, using creativity. Miss Arkansas County, ages 17-21 will compete in private interview, swimsuit, and evening gown. Swimsuit should be a one piece. *NEW: An optional photogenic competition will be held in each division.

Each contestant must reside in Arkansas County, and must compete within the age group they fall on opening day of the Arkansas State Fair, October 10, 2014. Jr. Miss Arkansas County and Miss Arkansas County will represent their county during the Jr. State Fair Queen and State Fair Queen pageants the week of October 13-18, 2014.

And would you believe that I was taken to the Country Village in Star City for dinner? As we were going to the Village we passed Walmart on the way, and guess what??? I got a large Icee!! WOW! WATSON IN HOSPITAL Nora (Horton) Watson fell in her house several nights ago and broke her hip while getting out of bed. Please, let’s pray for her to get well soon. She is in the DeWitt City Hospital for therapy. I personally know that Nora will appreciate hearing from or seeing all her friends.

Send her a card, give her a call or a brief visit she would love. Come on, Nora, and get out of that bed soon. I want to see you up and dancing when you get home.

Magna Charta Society The Arkansas Division, National Society Magna Charta Dames and Barons held their annual meeting on June 21st at the Best Impressions Restaurant in Little Rock. Jean Pollard Division Regent, called the meeting to order at 11:15 AM. Frankie Ochsner of Hot Springs led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America. Chaplain Dorothy Wilks gave the invocation and Blessing. The nineteen members and guests introduced themselves. Frances Jernigan read a poem by Rudyard Kipling about the Barons at Runnemeade.

Chaplain Wilks had a candle light memorial service for the two deceased members: Violet Isaacs of Fort Smith and Ruth Oberhelman of Bella Vista.

Secretary/Treasurer Frances Jernigan reported on the response to the invitation for this meeting.

Following the luncheon, Jernigan read the Minutes of the June, 2013 Meeting which were approved and she also gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Betty Harp Pollard gave a report on celebration plans for the 800th Anniversary of the Signing of the Magna Charta. Dianne Newton, of Conway, will assist with the Celebration.

Ochsner reported for the Nominating Committee and presented this slate: Regent, Jean Pollard; Vice Regent, Frankie Ochsner, Chaplain, Dorothy Wilks; S e c r e t a r y / Tr e a s u r e r, Frances Jernigan; and Registrar, Jackie Downs.

In proposals for Membership, Dr. Thomas Bolton of Pine Bluff was nominated. Pollard reported on her attendance of the Society’s National Meeting in Washington, D.C. in April. The group voted to send a monetary donation to National for their Anniversary Celebration plans.

Future Meetings of this group will be at 11:30 AM close to the date of the Magna Charta signing on June 15th. Members will be contacted about next year’s Meeting since it will be the Anniversary Celebration.

Imie Carpenter of Hamburg handed out U.S. Flags to all present.

The new officers for 20142016 were installed by Pollard.

A Woman Rides The Beast (No. 2)

By Tom Smith Last week we spoke of the woman riding the Beast, as seen in Rev. 17:7. We showed by Scripture that this Woman is a Church, and we see in Scripture that John proves the woman’s identity beyond any reasonable doubt.

But before I go any further, I want to clear the air, so to speak. We hold no ill feelings toward Catholic people. We love them just as we love the Methodist, Baptist, or any other religious group! Fact is, there has been Catholic people in the family. And though we heartily disagree with their doctrine, we hold ho grudges against the people themselves.

It is rather our bounden duty to point all people to Jesus Christ, not to the Virgin Mary, not to a pope, and not to a church with its man-made rules!

Some of our readers may have misunderstood our motive in preaching against the Catholic Church.

But let it be said that it is a spirit of anti-Christ in that church that we come against, and not the people themselves!

The Woman that rides the Beast in Rev. 17:7 is a City built on seven hills, and reigns over the Kings of the Earth.

Only one City, for more than 2,000 years, has been known as the City on Seven Hills. That City is Rome.

The Catholic Encyclopedia itself states, “It is within the City of Rome, called the City of Seven Hills, that the entire area of Vatican State Proper is now confined.”

The first thing we are told about this Woman is that she is a Whore! Rev. 17:1 “ - - - - I will show unto thee the Judgement of the Great Whore that sitteth upon many Waters” (water represents people). (Please read this in your own Bible and let it soak in.)

Friends, this is God’s Word we are dealing with, not the teaching of some men!

In Rev. 17:2, “The Kings of the Earth have committed fornication with her, and been made drunk with her false teaching.

Thousands of good Catholic people are not thinking clearly!

Why would a City be called a Whore?

Why would a City be accused of having committed Fornication with Kings?

Is it not because her Worldly Pomp and Glory, and her World-Wide Power has caused the people to marvel at her beauty, and therefore receive her anti-Christ teaching?

John the Revelator himself did marvel at her beauty!

That is, until The Lord revealed the truth to him.

It is no secret to the informed reader today, that the Roman Church holds most of the world’s wealth!

Much of that wealth has been acquired by the Sale of Prayers for People whose Salvation was in question, who were in a place called Purgatory (after death).

The teaching being that a Catholic Priest, with the proper financial incentive, could pray and save that soul from hell!

No greater deception could be dreamed up by an unspiritual mind!

The more one probes into the history of the Catholic Church, and also of its current practices, the more clearly we see the truth of John’s revelation, given to him centuries before it would all be brought to light!

John’s attention was drawn to the inscription on the Woman’s forehead, “Mystery Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.”(Rev. 17:5) Much of the Catholic Church’s evil history can be traced to its unscriptural teaching that its Priests should not marry!

The apostle Paul left that decision up to the individual, and so must we! Amen!

When You’re Afraid

It comes in all shapes and sizes. Its sources are seemingly endless. And, it’s known by many different names: anxiety, panic, phobia, worry, nervousness, dread, horror, fright, terror, alarm, trepidation, etc.

But, they’re all still the same and produce the same result in us.

That’s why we need to know how to recognize it for what it is and how to cope—yea, even conquer—it.

The Bible teaches us that “God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear— but of power, love and a sound mind” (II Timothy 1:7). Therefore, it comes from somewhere else. And, where might that be?

Believe it or not, we’re born with it.

Yes, fear—like anger, sadness, happiness, etc.—is one of our primary emotions. And, we express them in many different ways.

But, it doesn’t mean we have to let them control us, especially when it comes to their destructive ways.

A baby doesn’t have to be taught to be afraid.

A loud noise will startle him and he’ll immediately begin to scream at the top of his voice. If she feels like she’s being dropped, she’ll cry uncontrollably until she’s held tightly and comforted. And, sometimes traumatic experiences in those early years will affect a child for the rest of his/her life.

It might be a car accident. Or, getting bitten by an animal. Or, being burned. Or, being emotionally, mentally, physically or sexually abused. All of these—especially in one’s formative years—can result in various phobias that last a lifetime.

But, that doesn’t mean we have to be controlled by them.

King David wrote in Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my Light and my Salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the Strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” However, in Ps. 56:3 he also wrote, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in You.” Thus, it’s clear: Faith is the antidote of fear.

When Faith arises, fear flees—just as darkness flees when the sun arises. Hallelujah!!

Daniel “ … Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables, and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying ‘I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world’” (Matthew 13:34-35).

Because we have been conditioned over generations toward Jesus’ many parables each with its own distinct meaning, we are often inclined to overlook certain parables and take them for granted as having been figured out. While we might agree there may be only one meaning for any particular parable, we cheat ourselves when we strike one off the “list” of things completed – especially when it comes to the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven which the parables speak to and teach about. So when we believe we have “finished” any portion of the Scriptures, we stop reaching; and when we stop reaching, we stop growing spiritually. It is the reason there are so many “mature” Christians who have become stunted in their growth; it’s all “figured out”, the ‘secrets’ have been revealed.

Nothing could be further from the truth! There are treasures within each parable Jesus teaches that demand a closer look, and it is the reason why our Wesleyan Methodist heritage has an official “discipline”, a discipline which transcends denominational “rules” and promotes and encourages the many “means of grace”. The study of the Scriptures is a lifelong journey in search of “joy unspeakable” which can only be revealed as we draw nearer. We must never forget that discipleship can never be considered a “hobby” nor is it a way of living. It is Life itself which comes only from The Word.

utes the airliner was tossed around like a child’s toy by the wind currents, air pockets, etc. The overhead bin doors popped opened and some of the carry-on luggage fell out. Some of the oxygen masks even dropped down on the seated passengers below.

Needless to say, everyone was afraid.

Except for one little girl across the aisle from the pastor who seemed oblivious to what was going on. During the whole, frightening ordeal she just sat there in her seat. . .coloring in her coloring book. . .humming various songs.

Although gripping his seat’s armrests with white-knuckled grips and praying like he’d never prayed before, the pastor stared in amazement at the young girl. “How can she be so calm in a time like this?” he whispered to himself.

“She must be the strongest Christian I’ve ever seen,” he thought.

So, after the flight landed and the passengers were getting off, he bent over to the still-coloring little girl and said, “Young lady, I want you to know that I’m a pastor and I watched you during the scary part of the flight and noticed you weren’t worried. What kept you from being afraid?”

She smiled and said, “My daddy’s the pilot.”

What simple, childlike trust! And, dear Reader, in reality, that’s the same type of trust we should have in the Heavenly Father. Truly, He’s a sparrowwatching, hair-counting, tear-catching God and loves us very, very much (Matthew 6:25-34; 10:2931; Psalm 56:8).

Therefore, place your trust in Him today, knowing He loves you and has promised to “never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5b; Ps. 46:1). That way you’ll not succumb to fear when everything’s falling apart. And, when others ask how you can be so calm, cool and collected, you can reply “Oh, my Daddy’s the Pilot.”

This loan is for 20 years at 3.9% interest. Also approved from the same fund was a grant in an amount up to $40,000.

“These funds will be used in the emergency construction of a well,” said Mark Bennett, ANRC Water Development Division Manager. The Arkansas Natural

City Council Approves Resolutions for Hospital and Airport Grants

By Terrye Seamon Everyone needs a little help now and then, and the DeWitt City Council extended their hand Monday night by passing resolutions which will allow DeWitt Hospital and Nursing Home and DeWitt Municipal Airport Whitcomb Field to apply for grants. These grants will allow the hospital to purchase a new digital X – Ray machine and the airport to fund the repair and expansion of the apron.

The Council unanimously passed a motion to approve Resolution 2014-07 which will allow the hospital to apply for a $50,000 grant. The USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Loans and Grant will go towards the cost of purchasing a new digital X-Ray machine.

Annie Scroggin, radiology director at the hospital, said the number of cases the current equipment services has quadrupled since it was purchased in 2004. “The original machine was never designed to do the number of exams that we are performing today,” Scroggin told Council members.

The current X-Ray equipment was guaranteed a life span of 5-7 years, and it has been in service now 10 years. Scroggin said replacement parts for the current machine are no longer available, and it barely passed inspection this year. Inspectors recommended that the machine be replaced, or it probably would not pass inspection in the future. The new equipment is designed to last 10-15 years.

The total cost of the new machine is approximately $200,000, and the grant would cover 25 percent of the cost. City Attorney T. Buie said although the city doesn’t own the current machine and won’t own the new equipment, the city does own the underlying facility and approved the additional sales tax that helps support the hospital. Approving this resolution “shows the city’s support of them applying for that grant and purchasing that equipment,” Buie said.

In the area of new business, the Council unanimously passed motions to approve Resolution 2014 – 08 and Ordinance 774 concerning DeWitt Municipal Airport Whitcomb Field. Resolution 2014-08 authorizes the go ahead to enter into a grant agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for repairing and expanding the airport’s apron. The estimated cost of the project is $51,700, and the FAA grant would fund 90 percent of the cost. The remaining 10 percent, which is owner funded, will be reimbursed from the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics once the project is completed.

Ordinance Number 774 allows for the automatic bank withdrawal of funds to pay the airport’s Grand Prairie Regional Water District, CenturyTel, and First Electric Cooperative utility bills.

Council unanimously approved Resolution 2014-09 accepting a property donation from Black, Inc. The property behind DeWitt Publishing Company, which was the previous location of Big D’s grocery store, will be used now to store materials for the city’s street department.

In the area of old business concerning a proposal to ban leaf burning within city limits, Mayor Relyea informed the Council that he thought they had a grant to buy leaf-removal equipment, but they don’t. “We are back to not having money to do this at the present time,” Relyea said.

The Mayor also said he visited with several constituents who suggested if a leaf-banning ordinance becomes a reality, that provisions be made for so many days a month to be set aside for leaf burning because of the over abundance of tree limbs in the city. “Most towns that have a ban have a 10,000 plus population,” Relyea said. He also said if the city doesn’t ban leaf burning, maybe they could set some guidelines such as specific times of day and specific items citizens could burn. The Public Works committee is going to continue to investigate the possible proposal, and the Council will keep the topic on the agenda and revisit it at the August meeting.

In another area of old business concerning street paving, the Mayor told Council members, “We will not be eligible for street aid until 2015.” The street aid grant program works in cycles, and DeWitt already received one of the grants in the current cycle. Mayor Relyea said the city is still going ahead with plans to pave 5th and 6th streets and Adams Street. The project will cost approximately $700,000, and the city currently has $800,000 in the Street Fund. The Mayor said he plans to start taking bids by the end of July and for the project to be finished by end of year.

City Attorney T. Buie informed the Council that a trial date of May 18, 2015, has been set concerning the lawsuit filed against the city by Southern Arkansas County District Court Judge Park Eldridge concerning the funding of the deputy court clerk’s position.

“There’s nothing happening right now, but there will be in the near future,” Buie said. He told the Council that setting the date is standard procedure. Deadlines will be given at various points throughout the process to meet certain criteria like filing motions, etc. Buie told Council members that he will keep them posted as they go along.

City Attorney Buie and Mayor Relyea also discussed with the Council the idea of electronically coding city ordinances after 1960. The process, which costs $3,600, would make researching city laws a lot easier for city staff, Council members and citizens via the city’s website. Relyea and Buie are still researching the
