Heifer International Visits PCCUA
DeWitt Youth Center will be held at 423 E. Halliburton Street in DeWitt, AR. The fun continues through August 15, 2014. Monday - Friday breakfast will be at 8:30am - 9:30am and lunch will be at 10:00am - 11:30am.
THE DEWITT PUBLIC LIBRARY
The DeWitt Public Library will be closed for the week of July 28th through August 1st for staff in-service and yearly deep cleaning. We will open back on August 4th with regular business hours. We thank you for your cooperation!
FIRST CHRISTIAN VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
First Christian Church, 1801 S. Grandview Drive, DeWitt will be having a Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 19 from 9:00 a.m. - noon. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The VBS is open to kids 3 years old through those entering the 6th grade.

The Grand Prairie Historical Society will hold their summer quarterly meeting and program Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Hunters Chapel United Methodist Church, near Casscoe. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. An interesting program on the area’s history will be given by long time Casscoe resident and society director Larry Fortune. ANNUAL JOHN B HORTON FAMILY REUNION
The annual John B Horton Family Reunion will be Sunday, July 27 at the Community Room at DeWitt City Park. A pot luck meal with many delicious recipes will begin at noon. The event will be hosted by the Mack and Susie Horton family and will include an auction of homemade desserts baked by members of the family. Photos of ancestors and family history will be featured for the children. Door prizes will be given to the lucky ticket holders. It will be a day of fun, food, and fellowship for those who attend.
