RECEPTION HONORING PEGGY DENMAN
There will be a reception honoring Peggy Denman at DeWitt Elementary School cafeteria Thursday, June 4th from 3:304:30. Mrs. Denman is retiring as a teacher with the DeWitt School District. There will be a money tree made in her honor at New Leaf Florist. Everyone is invited to attend.
MOVE WITH BALANCE
The DeWitt Senior Center announces Move with Balance Exercise Classes. The classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 11am at the center, 205 N. Main, DeWitt. The class is taught by certified instructors, and is designed to help improve balance and brain function.
HUMMINGBIRD BANDING CLASS

The Greg Hackney Family of Gillett has been chosen the 2015 Arkansas County Farm Family of the Year. “We are very excited about it. It’s been a great privilege for your peers to vote on you. I’m a fourth generation farmer and the first Hackney that has ever been chosen as Farm Family of the Year. It’s an honor,” Hackney said. According to the 68th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program Book, the purpose of the program is “to rec-
ognize outstanding farm families throughout the state.” The Hackneys will be judged June 15-17 for participation on the district level. For more information about the Hackney family, watch for the DeWitt Era-Enterprise’s farm family edition later this summer.
